This is going to be great in early December. Poor, dumb democrat supporters are going to learn that this won't happen and was only a midterm ploy for votes.

On top of that, this would end up like the PPP loan during KungFlu. These loans will be forgiven for MA, ME, MPS, and degrees that start with D. Tom Brady was forgiven for his ppp loan. Very few bachelor or undergrad degree loans will be forgiven.

He doesn't have the ability to due this. It's no different than needing congress to bailout Ford, GMC, Chrysler, etc.

The best part are those who borrowed money for their 6 weeks of fun won't have their loan forgiven. Forgiven loans will first go to those that are in advanced degrees. Masters and Doctorates will be the first forgiven.

Someone with more knowledge of Pell Grants explain to my why they would qualify for $20K in forgiveness instead of $10K. From what I recall, Pell Grants were available for those below a certain income, etc. and as long as the person graduates they didn't have to be paid back (i.e. they are grants and not loans).
