You're saying doing the wrong thing is good business if it puts a dollar in your pocket? That's where we disagree and that is precisely the type of thinking that necessitates government. You have got to be kidding. Banks loaning money that they KNOW they will get a return on is not 'stupid'. Universities increasing their rates because they know the income stream is guaranteed is not 'stupid'. In both of those cases, it is good business. I think it could be construed as somewhat unethical in making loans for PhDs in gender studies and other such rot, but if you KNOW you are going to make a return on your investment, there is nothing 'stupid' about it.
What is glaringly stupid is thinking that any of this will make the banks/universities feel any pain.

Do better and there will be less government.

It's printing money. It's just the other side of the equation. This is dumb to do in the middle of a recession and high inflation. It's not printing money, but writing off money that was expected to be paid to the government that no longer will. Its a revenue cut. Same as a tax cut or PPP loan forgiveness. Love watching people who idolize tax cuts twist themselves into knots arguing how this is so much different. It's all the same.

Whose definition makes it wrong? Got news for you Chief, it's capitalism. You don't like that, you are living in the wrong country. And that doesn't necessitate government, it causes government to prey on the populace. To wit: this bs 'crisis'You're saying doing the wrong thing is good business if it puts a dollar in your pocket? Taxpayer bill for Biden student loan bailout could reach $600 billion, warns budget watchdog
Up to $900B in forgiveness
lol.....That's probably little comfort to the hundreds of people Trump has swindled and left holding his debts.Believe the toilet seat comes at owning personal businesses, not tax payor or insider trader dollars. While living behind a wall with tent cities in your district. 170K car makes $15 ice cream in a 25K refrigerator during a pandemic acceptable on The Late Show.
I've got some return news for you Pedro, if you do not understand that 90% of government in place today is a response to the failures of capitalism, then you aren't paying attention.Whose definition makes it wrong?
