Ha! Well played orangeblood. Considering the same problems that any of these coaches could and likely would confront if these litigation junkies win their court lotteries, those coaches dang well better post better records than team 120's going to. W's & L's will rule at the end of the day.Winning cures all ills in sports, and we've got the antidote this year.
See ya in February, rednecks.![]()
Yes, this was in another thread and of course, coaches are telling recruits that. Negative recruiting is more common than positive recruiting. If a coach doesn't have any dirt on a rival, he makes stuff up. However, we have ammunition for rebuttal and there is no proof that this is playing a role in any of our targets. Nigel Warrior waited until NSD despite being a legacy and a UT lean the entire process. That's how it goes sometimes. Not everyone wants to get through the process asap. I think more players are in a wait and see mode about our upcoming season than anything else. They (Higgins) want to see more wins (especially vs Florida) but also an improved passing game.
If the Title IX suit is our biggest problem, we will be fine.
If the AA wants to try and get involved here I'll bet you'll see assemblance of lawyers not seen in some time.
All schools better hope UT is successful in combating this suit. If UT loses big time, you can bet every major university will be on the chopping block. They should be contributing to UT'S legal defense fund.
Those opposing coaches better watch what they say. Their school could be next. This is probably just the beginning. Don't think UT will be the only school sued like this, we're just the first. Sad.
It's April, April, APRIL for the rest of the SEC also, but they are ahead of us...:hi:
Hey look man, if you want to panic - go ahead. Nobody is stopping you.
However, even early entrees can be as much as 7 months away from a decision in the middle of April. 2017 is a good year for talent in the state of Tennessee and Butch has earned some trust when it comes to in-state recruiting and as a closer.
...but by all means, panic like hell if it makes you feel better. :hi:
Butch closed our recruiting class to what 7th or 8th in the SEC last year? There's no doubt we have lost momentum. Anyway I love early entrees. Always pleasantly surprised. Usually tip extra.
According to 247 Avg, 6th in SEC (top half), 12th overall (top 10 percent). This with a small class to fill needs.
This year, we're a little slower than we have been. But, again, we're being selective. We have 3 along with Auburn, Ole Miss, and Mizzou. Florida & LSU have 4. So, it's not like we're alone. I guess Kentucky is killing it with 11.
