I look for Fox News to settle with Dominion as well. There is no way that they want 92 year old Rupert Murdoch taking the stand, along with Maria Bartiromo, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham .... That's too much bad pub. They will write a check.

They would have done that a long time ago if they could. Going to trial has allowed the liberal press to bang them daily over this

Fox plays Maga for the gullible, low-information folks they are--same way that Sunday televangelists and many GOP politicians and other
right-wing media do. Rural Americans are a market for them. Fox tells Maga what it wants to hear to keep Maga watching Fox. Fox doesn't believe
half or three-quarters of the crap its spews. Fox itself has already made this clear in depositions related to 2020 election. It didn't believe the gangster's election fraud lies but wasn't going to dispute them and risk losing its rube market. That has been admitted by Fox officials in case testimony.

Judge in Dominion Lawsuit Sanctions Fox News for 'Withholding Evidence'

The ongoing Dominion Voting Systems defamation lawsuit against Fox News took another turn this week.

Delaware Superior Court Judge Eric Davis has sanctioned the cable news giant for ‘withholding evidence.’ The Dominion lawsuit is scheduled for trial in the next few days.

Reports from someone who was present in the courtroom during the Wednesday pre-trial hearing indicate Davis was angry with Fox News, and suggested he might order an investigation into the network for withholding evidence.

Rupert Murdoch is expected to be called as a witness in the Fox News vs. Dominion defamation trial 'as soon as Monday'

Fox Corporation chair Rupert Murdoch is set to take the stand in the defamation suit being brought against Fox News by Dominion Voting Systems.

According to Bloomberg, Murdoch's appearance could come as soon as Monday. The report said the 92-year-old will likely be the first or second witness called by the prosecution. Jury selection in the trial is scheduled to begin on Thursday.

Last week, Delaware Superior Court Judge Eric Davis said he would not block Dominion from calling Murdoch to testify in-person about his involvement in the coverage, which Davis has ruled was false and defamatory.

The jury pool will be drawn from New Castle County, Delaware, where Democrats outnumber Republicans more than two-to-one, according to the state's Department of Elections.

Opening arguments are set to begin April 17.

There are two ways this can happen, inadvertently or intentionally. Inadvertent can happen when a large organization with a lot of moving parts does not connect all the dots when there is a discovery request. Not uncommon and lots of ways to fix it.

Intentional is uncommon.

With a billion dollars at stake odds of it being inadvertent go way down.

When the withheld documentation is damning, the appearance of it being intentional, will also increase.

Dominion's attorneys now have Rudy Guiliani on a recording, telling Maria Bartiromo that he couldn't prove the allegations that he was making against Dominion on her show... and yet, Bartiromo continued to have him on her show anyway, and she never pushed back against his unsubstantiated allegations.

Well that's actually nothing new, when you think about it. The record is indisputable that the Fox hosts KNEW that the claims were false. They even knew that the Trump machine was aware they were false and still promoted them.

To this day Carlson does shows promoting what he says off the show he knows to be completely false.

But promoting that narrative = ratings to him and campaign donations to Trump. Both Fox and Trump have made many, many, many millions promoting what they know to be a lie.

And when it's pointed out Carlson has Trump on his show and they don't breathe a word about it. It's hard to know which is more damnable: Fox for knowingly repeating the lies (even now), or the morons in MAGA world who eat it up and write checks.

If Fox doesn't settle the folks you mention will be entering an environment that is totally unfamiliar to them. One in which getting caught in a lie actually has consequences.

Unlike MSNBC and CNN…if you believe that then there’s no hope for you.

Can you point to an example of on-air personnel for either CNN or MSNBC having a clear dichotomy exposed to such an indisputable extent, as the text messages and e-mails publicized during the discovery phase of Dominion's law suit, from Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham and Maria Bartiromo of Fox News have done?

I'm not talking about getting something wrong ... Do you have proof of bad faith arguments being made?

Gotta love the writing at Fox…
Police said they received eight calls just before 7:30 p.m. Monday about an explosion and fire. Callers said some employees were trapped inside the milking building.

When law enforcement officials arrived at the dairy farm, they determined only a woman was trapped in the dairy building.
we thought some employees were trapped, but thank God it was only a woman.

If you tried to explain why that was awkwardly phrased, to the (more than likely) 20-something who wrote it, they would probably not understand your critique. Text messaging has crippled the ability of young people to effectively communicate in the written form.

Oh I already know you’re hopeless. Every single time those networks claimed Trump said Neo-Nazis are very fine people they lied and they absolutely knew they did. Or how about the gun range pics from KY that CNN aired and claimed it was a war zone overseas? But yes, there are opinion shows on Fox that knowingly say things that are false, just like Maddow, as was deemed by a judge in her defense against OAN. All networks push their propaganda, you’re just too blind to see it.

Fox is far worse, not even close.
Really? How about all the shows on CNN and MSNBC where it was claimed things like Trump is a Russian spy, we have proof of collusion, and on and on and on when they knew it was all crap? Even if you claim they were duped then, at best, they’re terrible at their job. Don’t forget the Neo-Nazi lie about Trump calling them fine people, the whole Sandman debacle and so much more. It’s just you like the slant they put on things so you willfully keep your head buried and you always will.

In other words, you don't have an equitable example. You have to resort to statements such as "they lied and they absolutely knew they did."

... and I'm not talking about the reporting of misinformation either. Do you have any evidence that there were opinions expressed on either CNN or MSNBC that network pundits, didn't actually believe?

Basically, Tucker Carlson is two-faced.

The discussion here concerns the difference in how Tucker Carlson speaks about Donald Trump privately (I hate him passionately!), with how he kisses Trump's butt on his show (such as the interview from the other night). You aren't talking about the same thing.

They don't want to even acknowledge it because there is no excuse or credible reason to justify it.

Didnt Chris Cuomo tell his audience that he quit advising his brother when he did not believe that or was doing what he said? How about his much-ballyhooed quarantine? Or how about him defending his brothers sexual harassment scandal while attacking others in a similar situation? This article may help with others:

That is still not the same thing. I'm not talking about lying or having a conflict of interest. I'm talking about being two-faced. Expressing one opinion on the air, while giving the exact opposite opinion in private.
