Fox being sued for allegedly broadcasting ‘lies’ about Dominion

Fox's filing included an email from Dominion attorney Brian Farnan that said that the Dominion legal team “will not be presenting its claim for lost profits damages to the jury, given that it is duplicative of the lost enterprise value damages.”

Fox says Dominion knocked millions off damages claim
I think how much Dominion is willing to accept will depend heavily upon how much contrition the Murdoch's are willing to express in a statement concerning the settlement. Rupert probably can get the amount way down, if he is specific about the wrongdoing.

The Trial is scheduled to begin tomorrow and Video and Audio recordings are forbidden.

If FOX loses a massive amount of money as everyone is predicting, will they be forced to fire Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity in order to reduce spending?
With the possible exception of Maria Bartiromo, the on-air personalities are safe.

CEO Suzanne Scott will likely get canned. She mishandled this situation with Sidney Powell and Rudy Guiliani, and documented her own indecision in e-mails. She looks worse than anyone, and is easily replaced.

This Dem support for Ukraine seems like proxy hate against Trump.
Couldn't it represent direct hate for Vladimir Putin, and the unbridled military aggression and human right's atrocities that Russia has committed in the Ukraine? Putin and Russia have been targeting schools and hospitals during their bombing campaigns. These are war crimes, which can not be justified. There is plenty of room for direct hatred of Vladimir Putin, which has nothing to do with any discussion concerning Donald Trump. Compelling evidence suggests, that Putin is one of the worst human beings alive, and an enemy of peace.

War Crimes Watch: Targeting Ukraine Schools, Russia Bombs Future

War Crimes Watch: Russia's onslaught on Ukrainian hospitals

All we have heard for 6 years..Russia, Putin, Trump is a Russian agent.
It kind of seems like you harbor some sympathy for Putin. That would be just as bizarre as any "proxy hate against Trump."

Vladimir Putin is a thuggish tyrant, motivated as much by self-enrichment as any world leader that you can point towards. So why is there such little contempt for Putin from the right-wing echo chamber on here? Could this be "proxy support for Trump?" It's a fair question.

‘Just the way the Nazis did’: Evidence suggests Russians are stealing art from Ukraine on a World War II scale

Russian forces steal priceless Ukrainian artwork during occupation of Kherson

^^^^ Is there any doubt that these works of art will end up on display in property owned by Vladimir Putin? ^^^^

I have never said that "Trump is a Russian agent," but on multiple occasions, Donald Trump did publicly side with Putin's denials of Russian involvement in cyber crimes which targeted American interests. The latest denial was made in direct contradiction to the publicly-stated conclusion of his own Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, following the public disclosure of the SolarWinds hack in December of 2020.

Why Trump did this, has never been explained.

No it didn’t you all were obsessed with “Russian collusion” and of course there wasn’t any
There was the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting.

If nothing was wrong with that meeting, then why did both Trump and Trump Jr. feel the need to lie about the purpose of the meeting? The e-mail exchange between Rob Goldstone and Trump Jr. make it clear that it wasn't to discuss the repeal of the Magnitsky Act and the subsequent resumption of Americans adopting Russian orphans. The purpose of that meeting from Donald Trump Jr.'s perspective was to receive opposition research from Russian agents, for use in the upcoming 2016 Presidential General Election Campaign.

Why did the Trumps lie, if nothing was inappropriate about the meeting? This question is NEVER answered.

Deflection.

Orangeboro is into hate. Doesn't try to win arguments on intellectual levels, just pushes hate. Wonder if he's a Russian bot. Doubt it's AI, if it was AI it would come across as at least halfway intelligent.

Yes we know there was a meeting, you typed that out at least 10 times over the past 24 hours. Clearly it was because they thought they were getting dirt on your girl. But guess what I still don’t care about it, most don’t. You are obsessed with it though.

You are on the right track here.

Basically, members of the 2016 Trump Campaign would have been willing participants in a collusive arrangement with the Russian government to disseminate dirt on HRC, but the Russians simply didn't have the goods. At least, not to the degree that Rob Goldstone had hyped in his e-mails with Trump Jr.

Collusion didn't happen, because Russia didn't have anything of use ... and the wikiLeaks releases were enough help anyway. However, for a Presidential Campaign to think that they could hold such a meeting and then get caught lying about it's purpose ... and then not have it investigated??? That's naive as hell ... and somewhat irrational.

Also, if you don't care ... then stop replying to my posts. That is how most people would handle it.

But you have to admit, that does sort of fit the very definition of collusion.

That’s wasn’t the reason for the investigation

But Steele's ex-Soviet sources weren't the same thing? And Steele's own nationality wasn't considered collusion ... even though he was a foreign national used in an attempt to influence a US election?

Sure it was, to a lesser degree.
