Fox being sued for allegedly broadcasting ‘lies’ about Dominion

I gave you 2 hypotheticals and ,1 case the shooting in Austin...but your saying there wouldn't have been a better chance of an Alex Jones acquittal in a red state with a conservative judge as opposed to a liberal state with a liberal judge?
Alex Jones had no chance of winning his case, and he wasn't charged with a crime.

I'm actually giving juries in red states more credit than you are. Not everyone is as consumed with politics as you seem to be.

Ok, now we’re getting somewhere. You were hung up on them being different and I was hung up on they’re both bad, and not some ridiculous continuum of bad that is someone’s made up opinion. I could argue if you knowingly lie that is also being disingenuous and two-faced because if you know it’s a lie then you don’t believe what you’re saying. But, I digress. I’ll agree with your bold statement. They are different and neither is better than the other. Good Lord, I’ve found common ground with BB. I better check my premises.

And quoting Ayn Rand, too.

Her ratings have always been pretty good. Easily the highest rated show on either MSNBC or CNN .... and once again, you are not talking about the same thing that I am ... You are making false equivalencies. Tucker Carlson expresses opinions on his show, that do not represent his genuine feelings. You have not provided a comparable example of that amid your rampant what-about-ery.

So are you saying that this Stanford/Oxford grad actually "felt"/believed that Trump was a Russian puppet/spy that Putin maneuvered through the primaries defeating 16 other potential candidates, defeated the wife of a 2-term President, installed him into the White House against nearly every media organization from 7 time zones away?

Hell, BB still believes it.

You forget, that they then accuse the other side of doing what they do, with no proof.

E#ach time you point a finger at someone, three fingers are pointed in your own direction. In a sense, you're testifying against yourself. Amazing, isn't it?

There’s plenty of proof of lying on all sides. Watch or read any “news” outlet for 5 minutes and you’ll see it. Yes, that includes Fox.

Rittenhouse: A very young, stupid right-winger who doesn't like protestors, so he drives /into another state/ with his assault rifle to show up
at a street protest. And his purpose was what exactly? His purpose was to provoke people--provoke the protestors, whom he didn't like. That was why he was there--no other reason. To instigate. And that's what he did--emboldened, as these gun clowns are, by the dangerous weapon he had. He did provoke some protestors with his assault rifle, one apparently chased after him with a skateboard, and Rittenhouse shot and killed the guy. His self-defense argument was BS, even if he was acquitted by a disgraceful OJ-style jury. This notion that you can instigate confrontations or fights with unarmed people--doing so only because you have a gun--and then shoot them is disgraceful and grotesquely unjust. Rittenhouse should be in prison.

It speaks volumes about how pathetic the GOP has become when they trot out this dumb fool who killed two people (wounded a third) and try to make him into some kind of a hero.

So unless you're a radical left wing terrorist, you have no right to be out on the street. Got it.

You also left out he was invited and was on private property when he was chased and attacked by one of the rioters.

He didn’t drive into the state with his “assault rifle”it was already in Wisconsin. He was there, along with other individuals, watching over specific businesses that may be targets for rioters. And I’m laughing at you saying that he was merely chased by a protester with a skateboard. The guy started beating Rittenhouse in the head with a skateboard. That’s assault with a deadly weapon and clearly grounds for self defense.

Or you could ask one of the guys that Rittenhouse shot who testified under oath that Rittenhouse didn’t fire on him until he pointed his gun at Rittenhouse. I mean the prosecutor in the case knew how damaging that testimony was because he buried his head in hands because he knew that Grosskreautz pretty much destroyed his case then and there. If you want to disagree with the verdict, that’s fine, but at least get the basic facts of the case straight first.

One of the most inaccurate and ignorant posts you’ll see in this forum, and that is saying something.

Trial delayed to Tuesday. Could be any number of reasons, but certainly settlement discussions would be on the table.

Fox cannot like the idea of Dominion lawyers asking Murdoch and others very tough questions about their lies for $.

Even if troubled Dominion wins the suit, the damages awarded will be nothing close to $1.6 Billion.

FOX has $4 Billion cash on hand.

Trial begins Tuesday. The trial is being held in Delaware, a state I have never seen on a US map.

Will a settlement be made before Tuesday?

Too easy.

Just working from what Fox was willing to pay in order to settle sexual harassment suits brought against them by accusers of Roger Ailes and Bill O'Reilly, it will likely be north of $300 million - Twenty-First Century Fox paid out $50 million in the fiscal year of 2017 alone - $20 million of that went to Gretchen Carlson.

This "brilliant" individual obviously had these beliefs/feelings and spouted them on the air freely at MSDNC. Never really understood what a nut job she was/is. She is most definitely the Queen of Conspiracies.

Rachel Maddow called out by fellow liberals for pushing anti-Trump conspiracy | Fox News
As a viewer of her show, I can attest that her most frequent topic of discussion during the Mueller probe, concerned a proven occurrence - the June 9, 2016 meeting at Trump Tower between members of the 2016 Trump Campaign (Paul Manafort, Jared Kushner and Donald Trump Jr.) with Natalia Veselinitskaya and agents of the Russian government.

Per e-mails exchanged between Trump Jr. and Rob Goldstone, who arranged the meeting, it is clear that the purpose of that meeting was to discuss dirt on Hillary Clinton. However, not only did Trump Jr. lie about this meeting having occurred, he also lied about it's purpose and who had been in attendance. That meeting was not a fabricated conspiracy theory from the left ... but an actual event that the Trump Campaign unsuccessfully tried to cover up. That more than justified the collusion probe.

She believed that the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting occurred ... and it did.

Rob Goldstone, who arranged the meeting :

"This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump."

Donald Trump Jr., who attended the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russian agents :

"If it's what you say, I love it."

^^^ Coupled with Trump Jr.'s easily provable lies to cover it up, that meeting justified Mueller's collusion probe. ^^^
