Franklin has Interesting Hiring Criteria

James Franklin's, so called success is due to Vanderbilt having a President/ Athletic Director, who has decided to make an effort to get Vanderbilt competitive.
David Williams, did not give that type of support to the coach from two seasons ago, nor did he give it to the one that at Vandy prior to that, even though, that coach took them to a bowl game and a victory in the bowl game.
It seems coincidental that David Williams, who is black, has now decided to get serious about Vandy athletics, when a black coach is hired. Seems to me that Franklin is NOT doing anything that any other college football coach would be able to do, when they have the support of the athletic director.
Any coach can accomplish what Franklin has done, when the past football coach recruited franklin's first team and when the university has decided to get serious about football. Of course, you would look good as a coach.
I am not impressed!!!! There is a reason that Maryland didn't fight very hard to retain Franklin, when Vandy came calling..... In due time, we will find out what Maryland already knows.

any coach that has ever interviewed for and not been awarded a job under this idiot should look into filing a suit, Where is the AFL-CIO, Rainbow Push, Rev Al and NAACP on this one......never mind, Franklin is black

If I was one of his assistant coaches, I would make sure he is never alone with my wife. Sounds to me like he is on the prowl for good looking women.

Looking at the family pictures of his current assistants, he must be starting this as a new policy with new hires.

That comes across as really shallow on his part to me.
So basicly having a hot wife is as important as your ability to coach?

No, he was saying it takes guts and personality to reel in a hot wife and if a guy can sell himself to a woman, he might be able to sell himself to a recruit.

I'm sure he was just kidding. I don't like him, but this is harmless, imo.

Being able to bed a hot woman and being able to convince a 16 or 17 year old male to play football for you; I see the correlation.

James Franklin is now to be known as Black Sab...
