Well based on some of the looks of the asst coaches wives in the media guide then it doesn't take much to get hired at Candy.

Franklin is now saying that he was joking. He 1,000% meant it as "the wife has to be hot". He has admitted that but called it a "poor attempt" at humor.......YA THINK?

Maybe I'm a Jerk too but I really don't have a problem with the comment. He was kidding. Don't mind him getting hammered for it either. GO VOLS!

I dislike Franklin as much as anyone...but he was making a joke. People get up in arms over such stupid stuff these days.

You like it when your boss objectifies your wife? He's an SEC head coach, not a freshman frat boy. I wasn't outraged...creeped out is more accurate. How stupid can he be? What he said was sleazy and perhaps even illegal. He didn't really apologize for what he said either...he apologized if he offended anyone.

He was talking about Moneyball and how similar comments were made re: confidence. It'll be okay...no need to get creeped out by a joke.

And just so it doesn't seem like I'm supporting him, F Franklin and Vandy.
