Guess we know which consultant she hired.

🤣 LOL, she definitely couldn't have afforded me for some no-name race in some burg of the mighty Nashville. And yes, I know what Franklin is. I have a relative who has owned significant land there since before the civil war.

And anyway, I am not doing that kind of consulting any more. Does not bring out my Christian side. 😜

I agree, what she did 30 years ago has no bearing on her campaign theme. It's the fact she lied about it and other things that disqualifies her from running on a morality platform.

Ah, ok, if she lied about it recently, then yes, that is fair game.

I believe she has recently and repeatedly lied about it and a few other things.

It's nice to know so many VN members never made mistakes coming up, lots of glass houses.

It's not about making mistakes, it's being a hypocrite and running a morals campaign when all you do is lie....

I agree with you on the lying, that disqualifies her from bringing up morals in her campaign. If you look back through the thread several posters were hammering on the working for the escort service 30 years ago as making her a hypocrite for running a campaign on morals. Those are who I was referring to.

I'm hammering on her because she tried to insult what tiny bit of intelligence I had with her blatant BS...

People make mistakes when they’re young and can and do learn from them and change.
I know I sure did

People aren't allowed to grow up and move on from their mistakes anymore.

I agree with you.

You can bet dems will dig up (or manufacture) anything at all to stop an anti-LGBTQA opponent. I'm constantly amazed at people who run for office believing anything shady in their past won't come to light ... especially if they are not dems.

Both sides have very questionable people 😂.. taking my side out of the equation, she (R) doesn’t need to run, Megan Barry(D) didn’t need to be Nashville mayor (and she gone), and this Only Fans nurse practitioner (D).. also doesn’t need to run.. surely both sides can find better people 😂 if these are token candidates, maybe they need to reassess this process of the choosing.. maybe we should be doing best qualified, rather than just ticking boxes.. at least do some background checks or due diligence first lol

That last one is the big issue. Candidates actually do need to be officially vetted - and not by the party. There needs to be a defined process - the thing is it's not like there are a lot of qualifications to be met in the first place, but still there's always that group of candidates that can't seem to meet even the residency part. It doesn't even seem that her "problem" would keep her from running, but you'd think voters would want to know.

What do you qualify as "young?" She was working for the escort service, alias and all, in her early 30s.
I see…well now… how about I remove “ young” from my comment. Even the worst urchins of society occasionally have a moment of clarity and change their lives as a result.

Hanson's suit against the city ethics commission is this morning. I'm going to head over to see the trainwreck.
