Frats are the lifeblood of UT, Who is best?

I didn't want to bother with frats as I feel they're a waste of time. Being a frat bro just doesn't sound fun to me.

A number of them got in trouble and it hurt the quality a little bit... Sae was like that. I think kappa sig too. Those guys were probably the most like animal house when I was there

Huh? As an alumn and parent of a grad there...this is info I didn't know. Jeez, didn't belong to one, so I guess I didn't really go there, nor do I attend with my season tix.

Good to know.

I have a friend who has a son that pledged, I was just wondering who is the best. The only, yes only thing that matters is who has the best looking women walking in their house.

Which one is the kid pledging?

I wasn't aware we had a chapter at UT before... I'm DU alum.

I'm a DU member. Have loads of waterfowling gear, typically McAlister ad Filson. I do the British Tan waxed cotton.

As a former tender of bars, waiter, and delivery driver (basically a whore of all things gratuity), I can say that frats only contribute daddy's money (wtf is a tip bro), a cliche college bro-atmosphere, and a sound belief that you CAN manage to have fun for 4 years of your adult life without a job.

Also, I've met maybe 3 or 4 fratdaddies that actually knew squat about the UT Vols outside of who's winning and who had the ball.

Fin.

I used to sell mushrooms to the KA's, SAE's, and KS's. So I would say those, just because I made so much money off them.

I joined a frat the second semester of my freshman year at UT, and I learned they are a waste of time and money. I was initiated and stayed in for about 2 years, held several "executive" positions, but found out it's not conducive to having friends outside your frat. So if your buddy wants to only hang out with the same group of people all four years have at it. As far as the girls go, they don't call them sorostitutes for nothing, they get passed from frat to frat like a virus. The best people, and girls, that I met while in college were those who weren't in my frat. I probably keep in touch with five of my old frat brothers and >25 other friends outside the frat. When a friendship is based off of money and hazing, it can't be good. TIFWIW...
