If you think about how easy it is for Kirby and his coaches to tell every recruit that GA was one play away from beating Alabama and that they are that one player who can make the difference. Unfortunately, that is an easier sell than telling a kid you are someone who is going to help make Tennessee great.

Think if we can at least pass South Carolina in the recruiting rankings and break into the top 20 it will be aight!

I think its pretty clear she just wanted him to choose out of state, I think she would of been happy with UT or bama

Recruiting is an inexact science. Daniel Brooks was a can't miss player but didn't do well. Trevor Daniel was low,on our list of priorities but he excelled

I know other coaches have come in and have won at a higher level, but there is only so many of those coaches out there and many of them inherited better situations.

Point is, this staff deserves support and a top 25 class should not be a disappointment to anyone that has realistic expectations. The negative Nancy attitude is crippling and makes us look like a bunch of ungrateful, unrealistic, spoiled, unintelligent people who need more hope than our football team.

I am all in on supporting thus class and our new coaching staff. I am dumbfounded as to your assessment why UT football took a nosedive.

The 3 juco were huge and two of them were 4 stars. Hopefully they can make a big impact.

But I agree about the bad taste. We missed at corner and we didn’t do enough to make up for how bad our offensive line is. If Hall can’t play, we are screwed

Wait, this is bottoming out? You mean this is worse than the 4-8 (0-8) season, the Schiano debacle, and the firing of the AD during a HC search? Interesting. For me, this is about realistic. I see it as a slight upward trajectory. Now we’ll see where it goes from here.
