Bray does not have the mental game at this time. He definitely has the arm but her fails to find the right receiver on a lot of plays.

what is rational that we would be better w/o him? Fuad seems very persnickety this year.

Per Reveiz it's due to Brays attitude and his disrespect for coaches that he wants him to move on. Says he is bad for the team. I have to agree. I watched Bray come off the field after one of his TD passes today and Worley was giving all the players "five" coming off the field. Bray completely blew Worley off.

No where near as many as people seem to believe. He was one of the best players on Fulmer's later teams and got battered by fans only to forgo being a top draft pick to stay with Phil and endure more hate from his teams fans. He now is arguably the top RB in the NFL and most of the people who bashed him are the same ones using him as a representative of Tennessee's prowess in the NFL.

Overall I can't understand why people have such a hard time wishing success for Bray, a Vol, no matter what his decision. Yes he's made mistakes but who hasn't in these last three years?
True Vol fans like Tyler and appreciate what he has done for the program in the way of working hard and representing the university. The rest of the folks that just like to complain all the time about everything can all suck a rutabaga.

It's hard to maintain a good attitude when you've been losing for so long. Doesn't excuse ignoring Worley like that but some of it is due to being one of the few bright points on a losing team. It tends to add to the arrogance factor of anyone. And remember, Bray's been said to be a 1st round pick for ages. Stuff like that goes to your head.

Still, I think he's immature for his age and has a lot to learn. A good coach could rein him in by showing him he's surrounded by talent (assuming our team was winning) as well as telling him flat out that he's been blessed with some of the best WRs in CFB and that makes up for a lot.

You sound like someone analyzing a presedential debate based on body language with that stretch. Bray and Worley have always been pretty supportive of each other and Bray may have easily not seen him.

Looked very obvious to me Bray was dissing him. Based on want we know about Bray's attitude, I would put money on it.

I do wish we would spend more time bashing the enemy and not our own. No wonder Fraud wasn't allowed to work with the kickers. Bray has been mostly fun to watch on a team that has been very fun to watch, Fraud needs to think about who he bashes, Nick has much more class than his father!

Of course it looked very obvious to you, someone who has probably been against Bray for a while, the same way a Republican would see something wrong with Obama's posture or a Democrat would point out that Romney didn't shake hands the right way.

You're looking at something that's probably not a big deal at all and trying to make it look like a huge deal. Next there will be a "Bray hates Worley" thread. Bray gets along with his teammates well so quit digging for gold in a sandbox.

If you think Bray has a good attitude and is a good leader then I guess we will just agree to disagree. I haven't seen anything in. 3 years that shows me he is a good leader and has a good attitude.

And He's RIGHT! I don't know and I don't care anymore--it's obvious that Bray and CDD's relationship was terrible. I do hope that Bray, CP, and Hunter ALL LEAVE!

CP won't be as good in the NFL as you guys think because the corners and especially the safeties are just as big as he is and every bit as fast. Hunter might not make it through training camp without getting broken in pieces, and Bray will whine and cry like a spoiled brat when the NFL coaches gripe at him like CDD...but they won't coddle him! Just send him home because they can't waste money on some guy who is a "...legend in his own mind."

I just hope all the O-Line stays. There is no 'I" in TEAM...and the sooner we get back to having a bunch of players who realize that fact in the key positions the better off we will be.

Sorry if some of you think this is being "negative", but I watched the tape of the SUGAR VOLS beating the crap out of the Miami Hurricanes this week with a bunch of no-name guys who played as a TEAM--and I want that kind of mentality back again. TEAMS win championships, not a bunch of guys like CP, Bray, and JH who just seem to care about pounding their chest for just catching a ball they should catch.

FLAME AWAY...:salute:
I agree with you about the team aspect. Just today, I told a friend of mine in Morristown that the Bray deal reminded me of the 1985 Vols. We had Tony Robinson at qb, and the team stood around waiting on him to perform his magic. After he got injured against Alabama, and we lost, the team turned to Darryl Dickey, who was anything but a star qb, as the signal caller. We struggled badly on offense against Ga. Tech in the next game, luckily coming out with a 6-6 tie, due to about a 53 yard FG at the end of the game by Fuad(maybe Carlos) Reveiz into the wind going away from the river toward the Hill.

After that struggle, the whole team rallied, pulled together, and became one of the best U.T. teams ever by the end of the year. We rolled through November and got better every week. No stars, no big egos. That was for the punks at Miami, who we drilled 35-7 in the Sugar Bowl. They had the hot shots and chest pounders. We had a TEAM. It is exactly what Vandy is doing this year. They are getting better every week.

I believe that the other players wait for Bray to pull their chestnuts out of the fire. I think that the coaches did the same. I heard the announcer say today that Chaney had built his whole scheme around Bray. As Bray goes, so go the Vols. It would be interesting to see what we could accomplish without "the stars". The 1998 Vols had more success after Manning left. The rest of the starters may have felt slighted because they got no recognition.

Never said he was a good leader, but his "attitude" is something that has been blown out of proportion. He tries harder than a lot of guys because he has to overcome his own defense's shortcomings. The bad attitude of UT belonged solely to Dooley who did not once take any responsibilty in a post game media session and instead blamed it all on his players week in and week out. Bray has leadership potential and it's shown in quick flashes but I do agree that he needs to step up and lead better, but he has more upside than downside and of coached up could help us significantly next year.

Bray is nowhere near ready for the NFL but thinks he will turn pro. Reveiz said Bray needs to go and that Tennessee will be better off without him. This was just on the post game call in show.[/QU Agreed!

Got to love all these fans that hate the players, hate the coaches (past and present), hate the AD, hate the academic side.

Wtf are you people cheering for?
