1. Reggie Bush has absolutely nothing to do with anything anybody is talking about. I have no idea why you even brought him up.
2. What attitudes do CP and JH have? I would really like to hear your explanation for that.
1. Fair enough...here goes: I threw out Reggie Bush because of how good he was in college with the ball in his hands--fast, shifty, could cut on a dime, and took a lot of KOs and punts to the house for TDs--JUST LIKE CP...and is just an average player in the NFL because everyone in the NFL is fast and very physical...CP will get broken in the NFL when he tries all that stuff on the field with guys bigger and faster than him--
2. CP's attitude has been on display ALL SEASON--getting repeated penalties that cost us TDs for those JR. high stunts of high stepping into the endzone instead of just running the ball across the goal line for his TEAM! (Missouri and Vandy if you can't remember)...Also just stood there with his hands up in disbelief when TB threw an INT against Vandy and didn't try to chase and tackle the guy when he was just 5 yards away...
Wouldn't sell out to get that ball against Fla and tried to hot dog it by pulling it in with one hand...he won't go get the ball at any cost--why? because he puts HIMSELF ahead of the TEAM!
JH--How many times has he alligator-armed passes when he knows he's about to get hit? How many drops does he have in key situations? Plays scared because he's more concerned with HIMSELF than producing for the TEAM.
As a receiver--both of those guys have a ton of speed and potential to be good--BUT don't have the proper attitude that is reflected by their actions on the field.
This is nothing new for UT--and other teams...Kelley Washington was a cancer and the 1999 Vols team was probably the best TEAM talent-wise UT has ever put on the field--but they played as a bunch of individuals and didn't get it done.
GREAT TEAMS are produced from UNSELFISH PLAYERS! Those guys who will give up themselves for the benefit of the entire TEAM--and those guys are bad examples...
Tyler's best game of the year was against USCe--and who did he throw the ball to the most during that game--NEITHER JH or CP--he threw it to Z. Rogers...who ran excellent routes and is a TEAM player...
I will go on record and say that Z. Rogers will be another player in the NFL like Wes Welker if he keeps working hard and avoids injuries....
Which brings up another point--look at the NE Patriots--
a few great players and a lot of other guys on the Roster who play with a TEAM concept--Same thing with the NY Giants last year...
I don't expect you to get it--so I'm done here! :salute:
