personnel dictated a lot of that....(whether or not to do the qb rotation thing...most aren't going to do that as a rule....)

Indiana state basketball talent >>>> Idaho state basketball talent

Still, I like Pearl more than Floyd

it's funny, NC State fans are left scratching their heads. they couldn't get Herb out of Raleigh fast enough. now there's rumblings about Sidney geting the axe. they get rid of a football coach and his red shoes and sunglasses, and bring in a bball coach and his red jacket.

and neither brought the consistent success they want so desparately.

NCST can rot in Hell...

I'd take RichRod in a heartbeat and Beilein has done a lot with a little in his past. The BBall team would be about the same but the footbal would improve IMO

No doubt the football program would get a nice boost, but I've never been a big Beilein fan. Not enough emphasis on the strength and conditioning aspect.

not his fault. he went to place that was dumb enough to pay him what he makes right now. imo, he's a genius.

I can never say that. He may be smart enough to get a moronic school to pay him moronic amounts of money... but the man has the coaching iq of a goat.

if somebody's willing to pay you to take Stephen Hawking's job some day, your IQ won't measure up, but you'll look smart heading to the bank.

you'd think with just a very slight shade of leadership skill, the coaches might have recognized the destructiveness of the polarization they were causing.

I think the bigger issue is why was there even a QB controversy in the first place in 2005? Rick Clausen was an LSU castoff with a weak arm... and Ainge still couldn't get seperation from him. We can blame Fulmer and Co. for a lot of things in 2005, but the QB controversy is something that Ainge had in his control if he would have been stronger.

I feel some Volbreaker genius rolling up in here soon. I won't be able to comprehend, so can someone help me out?

After approximately 3,500 hits of crack cocaine, 1,500 injections of SEA heroin, and 850 tablets of crystal meth, you should be good to go.

not to be cliche', but if you have two QBs, you ain't got one.

again, that's why he's a genius. he got them to hire him.

Rotating a pocket passer with a mobile running QB can work if done right. Rotating two pocket passers is idiotic.

Has there ever been a worse year for a UT QB? Just wondering...

Charisma doesn't equal intelligence.
i can tell you this....it doesn't take a 180 iq to cash the checks he's getting.....i'm just saying, you want stupid, see NCSU AD and administration....Lee Fowler is the only idiot that really matters in this equation.

i still put a considerable amount of blame on the WR's....they couldn't catch a cold all year long. the offense it it's entirity stunk that year. the sum of the parts was worse than any individual cog, even the qb.

the staff deserves its share of the blame

Now you do have a point about the dropped balls and such (and don't even get me started on Chris Hannon). But still, no excuse for Ainge not to have put a miles worth of distance between himself and spaghetti armed RC.
