it's funny, NC State fans are left scratching their heads. they couldn't get Herb out of Raleigh fast enough. now there's rumblings about Sidney geting the axe. they get rid of a football coach and his red shoes and sunglasses, and bring in a bball coach and his red jacket.
and neither brought the consistent success they want so desparately.
I'd take RichRod in a heartbeat and Beilein has done a lot with a little in his past. The BBall team would be about the same but the footbal would improve IMO
you'd think with just a very slight shade of leadership skill, the coaches might have recognized the destructiveness of the polarization they were causing.
not to be cliche', but if you have two QBs, you ain't got one.I think the bigger issue is why was there even a QB controversy in the first place in 2005? Rick Clausen was an LSU castoff with a weak arm... and Ainge still couldn't get seperation from him. We can blame Fulmer and Co. for a lot of things in 2005, but the QB controversy is something that Ainge had in his control if he would have been stronger.

i still put a considerable amount of blame on the WR's....they couldn't catch a cold all year long. the offense it it's entirity stunk that year. the sum of the parts was worse than any individual cog, even the qb.
