Fulmer needed to go. He should have been fired a few years earlier before he totally demolished the program.

The only reason it made sense to fire Fulmer is if you had a proven champion ready to come in. To fire a coach with that record and just hope for better is absurd. Truly.

That is assuming he had the same roster situation as Dooley has. However, he would've not run off players like Kiffin did, nor beg them to leave before classes, and would've had a class highlighted by Tajh Boyd, who has turned out pretty good. A lot of holes in that argument.

That is one of the best in "their" arsenal. The fact that he was fired at that point has not registered yet. Maybe it never will.

Last time I looked the record book states Fulmer lost to Wyoming.

I can't find a w-l record for Hammy.

What is Hammy coaching record?

The fact is your man got lazy and stop doing his job. He got fired and his arrogant ass cannot get hired by any d1 school.

If you think Fulmer did a good job his last 4 years you are very naive. Yes he won the SEC after getting blown our ibm a couple of games.

If Fulmer had not got lazy he would still be coaching at UT unless he decided to call it quits. He had 2 careers coaching at UT . He started very good, he finished terrible.

Fulmer had got a bit complacent and fell behind the times in recruitment. The SEC was changing/evolving. Tennessee, is hard to recruit for. We don't grow em' here. You have to go out and take em' from other states.

Fulmer/Chavis, is the greatest loss this program has ever had. Without a doubt we would be winning and competing again if they were still here.

He didn't finish terrible. Vol Nation did.

The TN program will get better.
It takes a while to rebuild a team that was destroyed so bad by Fulmer.
Rome was not build in a day.
The mess that Fulmer made cannot be repaired in a day.
2013 you will forget ole Phil.
