Too many pages to read. Here are Coach's stats and I am not Robert Peace.

Coach is 147-45. 102 more wins than losses. He has a MNC, and back to back SEC titles 97-98. 13 victories in one season, a first...and the list goes on. WHO could come to Knoxville and do that? Who? Sure lets get rid of him, then what?
He is the best fit for us PERIOD!.
You all will see that this season will turn into a very special season. Here is a telling stat...39-11. That is our record breaking in a new QB. We WILL win the East and SEC. Wait and see.

Totally agree, as long as Fulmer can continually defeat Tubberville, Richt, Meyer, Miles, Saban, Spurrier, and win SEC titles and make BCS bowls then....

Oh wait, what do the above all have in common?

They all own Phil

Because of him the league is that much more competitive, I mean come on!, we WON the east last year. UGA was luck enough to tie US. We didn't tie them. WITH this year's win in Athens I believe Coach Fulmer will hold a .500 record against Richt. This will be the YEAR we beat UF in Knoxville, and will whip AU while we're at it. Like I said before, I am taking you up on your bet.

Wait, how can I get in on a bet with you?

From Hatvol:

So really, who did they beat? They had probably one of the easiest schedules last year.
What was the combined scores of our games against Alabama and Florida. In fact, I'm tired of this. Here's the bet: Tennessee beats Georgia, I'm off the main board until football season is over. If Georgia wins, same consequence for anyone who takes the bet. Who wants some?

That's the bet. I say we win ALL our games!

Spurrier was the catalyst. He's the reason the SEC's coaches are second to none, not Fulmer.

Spurrier changed the style of play to some degree, but there have always been good coaches in the SEC IMO.

I suppose it's difficult to give all the credit to one guy. Still, it's pretty wild how he dominated the conference for so long. I do think that the way the program evolved/devolved from Hall-Spurrier-Zook-Meyer really showed people what an elite coach can do for a school.

If you're looking for one guy to credit, it simply can't be Fulmer over Spurrier. Look how Spurrier owned Fulmer and then how Phil failed to capitalize on the Steve's departure.

There are close to 120 other div.I coaches out there and close to twice that many asst. coaches or coordinators. Out of that 360 or so candidates, we are supposed to be believe that Fulmer is the only one qualified to get us 9 wins a season and go 9+ years with no hardware? And I'm certain that there are plenty that would take the job for less than $2 million.

Dave Clawson? Mike Locksley? June Jones?

All can recruit, and I think would be solid fits at Tennessee....also Jimbo Fisher....That won't be happening, or even Spurriers son, that would be hilarious!

btw if you don't know who Locksley is he is the reason for Illinois success, and can DOMINATE recruiting in the D.C. Area. No matter the school (See Vontae Davis, Rejus Benn, and Eddie McGee to ILLINOIS). He can bring that type of talent, and More at UT. Clawson would also be a better X & O's guy than Fulmer, but Honestly I love Fulmer, and I don't want to see him go Jo Pa style. I'm just saying we would have options if it really came down to it.

Ron Zook is one of the nation's better recruiters. Hard to give all the credit to the offensive coordinator.

No self image problems on the Hill, I see. The only surpise to me is that he is not flashing his Eastern Division Championship ring.
