The primary reason is EXTENDING Pruitt two additional years when no other teams were coming for him. Thus, terminating Pruitt puts us on the hook for the buyout for two additional years. Basically, making us financially stuck with this mess.

Not bashing him for the hire. We were in a bad place. Looked like keystone cops trying to hire a coach.

It was NOT the hire...it was the unnecessary extension and raise that has financially tied us to this dumpster fire for 2-3 more years.
