Yep. Walls originally committed in Jan 2008 I believe. Earliest link to Fulmer still on the roster.

Lane brought Johnny to practice as well. Looks like he was trying to do the same with both.

Also interesting is the fact that some of the players in that room were committed to play for Phil I think. Jacques, Cory Miller?, Walls? I bet that was pretty cool after all those guys have been through.

Great to see Butch getting it done. I expect improvement as this year progresses. We struck gold with this guy IMO.

I was wondering if someone would mention that other another coach tried to reach out to CPF. Heck people don't know but even accusing dooley for never making an attempt.

People need to stop acting like every little thing that CBJ craps out is gold. Just building urselves up, and why this place goes crazy when things don't turn out to be so shiny ever time.

CPF probably needed some time to heal. Also, he has been trying new things recently. I'm sure his deal with ETSU also made him realize that holding on to the grudge isn't the most beneficial atm.

This our my thoughts Vol Nation. Ive been a Vol Fan for 48 yrs now. I will admit i wanted Coach Fulmer fired. But u know I made the BIGGEST mistake in my whole entire Big Orange Life. Coach Fulmer is The Big Orange! Im proud Coach is Back!

With the playoff comitee invites going out, anyone think this is a move by Fulmer to be more "public" and possibly firm up an invite?

Either way I think it is a great thing for him to be available to not only our players, but our coaching staff...GO VOLS!!!
