Honestly, I won't be a bit surprised if West Virginia hires one of the Bowden sons.

Wouldn't be bad, IMO, with the conference structured as it is now, anyone with some basic head coaching ability can look very good at WVU.

Kevin Sumlin, Al Golden, and Brady Hoke will aso get calls from West Virginia.

Given that you can get guys into schools there that can't gain admission in the SEC, ACC, and Big Ten, you have good facilities and solid fan support, and you are the flagship team in a conference with a BCS bid, a quality coach should be able to replicate what Rich Rod did in Morgantown.

"Fulmer to North Carolina" is a darkhorse.

Don't laugh. Living in the Triangle and having done my trade school at Tarhead U (UNC) all we have been hearing about here is how much of an SOB Butch Davis has been and how he's destroying the reputation of the program. That is only going to get louder one issues related to a tutor hit the big-time press (and the issues here concern actions between sheets not made of paper -- not a real academic fraud thing).

I could actually see Fulmer being a good fit at UNC. Their fans are about as wine and cheese as possible and have wholly reasonable expectations in football. Their facilities are great. Campus is nice and so forth.

I could see him being on the Tarhead's short list if they fire Butch (and it's looking more and more like Butch is gone here in Raleigh).
