Fulmer to Louisville in 2010??

I am not necessarily disagreeing with you...but if he wouldn't leave Georgia for us, I don't see why he'd go to Louisville, promotion or not.

Basically, Kiffin offered him an offensive position just to get him as a recruiter. Garner has been wanting a coordinator job. My guess is that isn't in the cards at Georgia.

And then when he turned down the off position, Monte flew to Athens to give him DL job that ceo was going to make room for. Clk wanted him bad.

Clk tried to hire him too.

Not as DC...don't you think he would of had that position by now if he was thought to be capable. Remember UGA's Kevin Ramsey experiment? Where is he now? Carson Newman?

Haven't heard anything about Tuberville at Lousiville in a while. Unless Tubby doesn't want it, I think that's a more likely hire

I am making my second prediction. My first prediction was that Crompton would have a great game against Georgia (you guys gave me the devil for that one- then you apologized when Crompton tore it up). This time I am predicting Fulmer as HC of Louisville and that he will hire Rodney Garner as DC and Recruiting coordinator.

After Crompton's second half against Auburn where he appeared to be settling down and settling in, I also predicted he would have a good game against Georgia. So I would think that prediction was about a 50% - 60% likelihood.

I think Fulmer to Louisville is about 10% - 15% and Garner to Louisville is about 1%. That is just my opinion.

The fat jokes are just a little lazy. If you want to make fun of him for his coaching, or his "work like heck"-isms, then feel free. Just avoid the donut jokes.
It's not like he's Mangino from Kansas. He's just a big dude who once was able to use his size as to help the university.
I am one who doesn't see the point in making fun of him anymore. We got what we wanted. He's gone! I was definitely ready for a change at the HC position.
Now, I choose to think of him as a guy who loved UT, and was a great coach for a few years. I wish him well wherever he goes.

with Louisville according to ESPN College Football Insider and WVLT Volunteer TV. The meeting lasted 30 minutes which seems quite short.

Maybe CPF will get a head coaching job or maybe he is "consulting" Louisville's AD

I don't know how these things usually go, but it seems to me that, if true, 30 minutes is pretty insulting.

Does the article say this was the first meeting? Fulmer could have been interviewing previously with Louisvlle this season.

It speculates that it COULD be his 2nd interview and that is the reason for the short 30 minute meeting.

If true, 30 minutes IS a very short discussion with someone under consideration to be your next coach....

Why a long interview? Both parties should know each other pretty well, one would think. :dunno:
