I do have a soft spot for the Wreck. I’m from Atlanta, went to a GT game for my first football game and went to Bobby Cremins basketball camp back in the day.

Yeah, I hated my undergrad days there-for multiples reasons lol. We SUCKED at football entirely in those days. Not to even mention the academic load and social scene.

End of the day though, I can't complain. Walked outta there with something nobody can take away and feeling like I can do whatever I put even half an effort into.

It won't be easy for them. There will be a lot of 10-2 teams and their 2 losses will be to ranked teams, not a GT.

That's assuming they only lose one more of these games against Clemson, Miami, Notre Dame and Florida.

FSU's playoff chances just took a big, big hit. The only bright spot is that it is the first game.

Can’t remember who the YouTuber was but I watched a rather long video a couple months back I think that really went into detail about the the past few years for that program and their current coach. Knew they had a lot of positive vibes. I was honestly close to betting money on them for this game, something I’ve never done before. Shoulda 🤣

Yeah, I’m surprised, but not terribly. Tech improved much through last season. Apparently Brent Key is a good coach. They also have very good coordinators. Good for them, been a long time coming
