'20 GA ATH Arik Gilbert (LSU commit)

Personally, I see so many other more pressing needs on this roster that I'd be hard pressed to go after Gilbert. I'd rather see what Heupel could do with Beckwith instead and use our limited spots on positions of real need.

You take Gilbert all day if you can get him. He’s a proven commodity.

But he’ll be back at LSU or juco.

Its a tough one, he doesn't want to go to school. LSU laid it out what he had to do last Fall, instead of hitting the books.... he played the transfer game. Than when reality hit down in Florida, he was looking for an easy out but there really isn't one. As I think I mentioned, 50/50 whether he ever plays another down of major college ball again. He's actually not a bad kid (from what I hear) but he doesn't want to go to LSU or any other school.... not really.

Poor thing. Going to take a 4yr redshirt, not learn a damn a thing in school, get drafted, then be broke a few years later. Edumacation is important kids.

Pretty smart move if you ask me.
