This right here. Using medicinal marijuana (flower, topical, and sublingual) has a ton of proven medical benefits. There is a trade off with inhaling flower. But it can partially be mitigated with pranayama practices.
I think your onto something! I've noticed lately I've had to cut my trips to the Fridge for a beer. I was thinking turning 70 had something to do with it.Seriously, this. Putting things in your lungs, other than air, is bad. Your lungs are designed to bring oxygen into the body and transfer it to the blood. When you fill your lungs with smoke, of any kind, it decreases the efficiency of the lungs. The tip-top athletes likely don't smoke anything.
I think that some of us are agreeing, sure, we know many do it use it.Professional athletes: the majority of us smoke weed

Thats debatable since there are like 40 states now that have medical cannabis. No one has ever developed lung cancer from smoking weed if that is what you are implying. Now if they smoke cigarettes and green, well I would not be surprised if they developed some issues.I agree. It's stupid to treat marijuana differently than alcohol. My only point is, like alcohol, it isn't good for your body, especially inhaled.

Actually I have heard or seen reports that cannabis users can expect just as harmful or even more harmful effects than tobacco users.Thats debatable since there are like 40 states now that have medical cannabis. Sorry about your father.Anything that is not clean air is not good for your lungs. Proving something inhaled caused lung cancer is difficult because everyone inhales some known and unknown carcinogens every day. You are welcome to believe it is harmless but I know better. Inhaling any kind of smoke into your lungs is not good. My dad is sitting in his recliner right this second. He's on oxygen and can barley make it to the bathroom and back even with oxygen on. When he does it takes him 5 minutes to recover. He has idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and has about 20% of his lungs left. He never smoked cigarettes or pot. It's probably from his younger days working as a body man, breathing in bondo dust, fiberglass and paint. His doctor has given him a year or so. It's terrible to see your dad struggling to breath. "Idiopathic" means that they don't know what causes it. I am 100% convinced breathing in marijuana smoke or any smoke for that mater is not good for your lungs.
How well would it work for someone suffering from Lou Gehrigs? This right here. Using medicinal marijuana (flower, topical, and sublingual) has a ton of proven medical benefits. There is a trade off with inhaling flower. But it can partially be mitigated with pranayama practices.
I am the Director of Wellness for a breast cancer nonprofit. I create individualized medical marijuana treatment plans in conjunction with oncologists, dispensary doctors, and other medical professionals to help patients during treatment and during recovery (and yoga, exercise, meditation, and pranayama routines).
If you how and where it was grown and the specific strain, I can match the terpene profiles to help with specific issues. There are even anti-carcinogenic terpenes. I typically suggest sublingual and topical. The edibles can be a crapshoot unless you make them yourself.
