'20 GA ATH Arik Gilbert (LSU commit)

I have been but I didn't see any posts on the subject of this thread over the last few pages. Thanks for your helpful web browsing tips. You could have scrolled past my comment but you didn't so here we are. ;)
Your whining is off-topic. Almost shut the thread down.

Perhaps Gilbert could take a red shirt season to get his grades in order if UT can land him and get some playing time in 2022.
He seems more the type that isn’t going anywhere to “play school” he’s going to play this year. In his defense, online classes are tough if you aren’t disciplined... Covid probably hurt a lot of really intelligent students that lacked discipline..

He is a ridiculous athlete. He played TE and DE this year. He split out wide as a WR a lot if the time.

I was reading the other day that he has a chance to be #1 overall by the time 2020 rolls around. Marietta currently has 4 of the top 100 for 2020. When you look at the top 100 ranking, Gilbert and BJ Ojulari are already showing as 5*s. There are at least 5 or 6 other players that will be in the top 247. Ramel Keyton is a 4* WR for next season.
I am hoping Harrison Bailey will consider us now that we are out of the offense we were in. He will be the #1 QB in 20.
Just reading back through the thread. It's amazing we got two of the 4 and almost all 4. Do you know anything about AG besides what the LSU fan was saying?

Don’t get me wrong as I’d take Gilbert all day but it is very telling thst suddenly uGa will take him and the Clemson DB that have some red flags especially the Clemson kid. Shows that Kirby knows he better win some kind of championship and he better do it this year

It shows that they’re able to take the risk. We are as well, but for polar opposite reasons.

lol I bet none of them have actually tried it. Again, living and breathing proof vs. some nerds that never used it.

Do you drink? Legit question
Smoking cigarettes also doesn’t have any side effects as my father in his 80’s has smoked them his whole life and is fine. These Phd’s saying different are biased as the single example of my father proves them wrong. If it doesn’t kill every person who uses then it isn’t harmful right?

You can recognize the positives of weed and at the same time recognize that inhaling smoke can be a negative. Anyone that disputes that inhaling smoke, chronically over a long period of time increases your chances of developing some form of lung disease as you age, really loses all credibility in my eyes. I don't care what you do with your body but as with anything, too much of a good thing carries consequences somewhere down the line.
Meanwhile we drive around inside of machines that produce toxic fumes and fuel them with combustible liquid. Who cares. Let the man hit the bong.

we COULD drive around in machines that produce 0 emissions, last 30+ years, and of which the resulting infrastructure upgrades would benefit everyone....BUT....my Birk's are just on too tight.

I'm more inclined to believe our burning of fossil fuels is more beneficial to the earth than if we stopped. All life benefits from more carbon in the atmosphere. The Sahara used to be lush jungle when the earth was warmer and there was more carbon in the atmosphere. I dont think carbon and pollution are the same thing.

I'm not a scientist... just my opinion.
