As this season starts rolling, I think Tennessee will prove to be a really attractive destination for defensive players. Defensively, I expect this team to be dominant. On top of that, if everything goes according to plan, we will have proven our ability to develop players in the secondary.

Justin Coleman - 3* contributor in New England
Cam Sutton - 3* possible 1st/2nd round draft pick
Rashaun Goldman - 3* starter
Emmanuel Mosely - 3* contributor and possible starter

This list should speak volumes to recruits. Gibbs would be able to mature best in our program, not that of Georgia's

IMO, despite having talent, Georgia hasn't recently shown an ability to stop good passing offenses. All this to say, unless Kirby Smart is able to drastically improve that area of the team I think Tennessee will become more appealing for Gibbs. If Nigel is able to get some playing time and we ball out, it will bode well for our chances with him.

I don't recall any specific quotes in favor of or not a fan of, but is there a chance Gibbs isn't a fan of Shoop? It was shortly after Shoop came onboard that DG seem to distance himself from UT. Maybe not part of it at all, but the timing is interesting.

As long as he holds off, watching a Shoop secondary could swing him back. His Vandy secondary was nasty with nowhere near the talent he Has this year. Dudes were freaking aggressive and punished people

Much has been said about his cousin Reed going good to GA but will he not be there only two years and one with Gibson so if he chooses there? Whereas he'd be with Warrior three years if he chose the Vols. Isn't that the case?

Who was better leading up to their Senior year of HS? Gibbs or Warrior.

I believe he has 3 years to play after he sits out 2016 because of the transfer.

Unless Warrior balls out beyond belief and heads to the league early. Then they'll only be together two years.

Gibbs made the AJC Super 11 in today's Atlanta paper, as did Jamyest Williams. Both are at Grayson High School.

My nephew scrimmaged against Grayson a few weeks ago...Watson on offense was a stud...was a lot of talking going on that broke out into a fight...not much scrimmaging 😉
