'24 GA ATH Kamron Mikell (Colorado commit)

Georgia athlete Kam Mikell sounds like he is more up in the air than ever. Texas A&M and Colorado join Tennessee deep in this one but you can’t discount the home state Georgia Bulldogs, as they have been pushing the wide receiver narrative pretty hard since losing Ny Carr. Mikell plans on being in Athens on November 4th. We have seen that story before so their re-emergence is very eye-opening.

kudos to the kid though. stuck to his guns, and is going to wind up getting what he wants w/out conceding the positioin he wants.

well, that is until he gets there and they won't let him see the field at WR...but whatever....semantics is semantics.

This is the biggest problem going up against Kirby in recruiting.

Heupel can be honest to the kid and his family but if Kirby is willing to lie to get who he wants, there’s not much he can do.

I think that's a fair way to look at it. On the other hand, Wiltfong this morning says he's thinking hard about flipping his stale/old CB to UGA for Mikell despite the upcoming visit to UGA 11/4. Hints that UT's longtime pitch to Mikell at WR stands in stark contrast to UGA's new recruiting pitch, which is pretty transparently desperate and disingenuous.

WHELLP, who else is on our wr board? Or are we banking on Bru coming back?

8:25 mark of video... Fong seems to like our chances here...

A familiar development unfortunately
It shifts things but I wouldn't say this worries me just yet. Definitely keeping an eye on it though. Personally, I still think we're in the best spot. If I'm Kam, I'm looking at the QB situation as well as the other receivers that we have. With Matthews, Staley, and him, it's too much talent to double team either of them. Then you also have to look at Heupel's offensive track record.

Jesus man. I really thought we were getting this guy. I guess UGA is gonna take like 30-35 guys in this class. SMH.

Hopefully it’s just building drama to make it more exciting. It also could just be hard to overcome a 2 time champ who’s sprinting towards another appearance. I’m more shocked mizzou has pulled some like they have. Georgia I understand.

You don’t know that we didn’t.
Now wait just one second! Are you telling me that fans do not get a full transcript of every conversation that our coaches have with these recruits? There are words spoken between our coaches and these recruits that we are not aware of. I want to believe you but this is rocking my world right now. I have made all these assumptions based on what I thought was complete information about how these young men are recruited. I am going to need some time to process this.

Some of you are so spineless...no wonder you stay bent over all the time.
