Kirby is doing the Bear Bryant method of hoarding talent so no one else has itI don't think Mikell is going to georgia. He wants O and they want D. Why go to a school and waste a year of development if they put you on D? Why recruit a kid that you're just going to have to continually re-recruit if he wants a position change? It doesn't make sense for either side tbh.

-VQGeorgia ATH Kam Mikell continues to have strong dialogue with Tennessee, as we reported last week. Colorado is working to become more of a player here, and the Buffs are also recruiting him as a receiver, which is clearly his preference at this point. He is having ongoing conversations with both staffs about official visits. He was originally scheduled to be in Knoxville in November for the Georgia game, but we would not rule out that visit happening the weekend of South Carolina.
Colorado and Deion have a lot of pull right now. Probably not very many on this board, but a lot of people love Deion as a P5 head coach. Everyone expects them to struggle this year, and that’s just gives Deion the ability to show Kam that they need him and have early playing time available.

count me as skeptical. Deion ain’t sticking around too long anywhere if it’s not going well.
Feels like he had way more juice a few months ago with transfer talk and then it got much quieter. Unfortunately for Deion, talking time ends soon and actual games start. Couldn’t even win the Celebration bowl with an insane talent advantage but for some reason some ppl are sold that he’s some great coach.
They lost the same bowl the year before to the same team as well.I'm not sold on Deion either but you also had to figure how mentally prepared his team was knowing he, his son and their best overall player were all leaving to head to Colo. Then of you a Colo football player, how does he name his son starting QB before the first practice or knowing what they had. It's definitely not like he would ever bench his son. Just seems that could cause animosity till he got a team full of players he recruited. Although Colo did have 71 players hit the portal, so I guess technically most of the ones coming in by Recruiting class and the portal makes most of them his recruits. I don't see them winning more than 5 or 6 at the very most. I predict 4-8 or 5-7.
