That’s probably about accurate.

Being an EE he should be ready to go next season in the 225 range imo

I heard that. He is undersized, but he could put on 20 pounds next year and be ready to play. If nothing else, a speedy pass rush guy

I could be remembering wrong, but wasn't maggitt really small when he came in to? I remember him playing as a freshman.

It’s undersized for an SEC LB for sure, but yeah as an EE I don’t see why he couldn’t put on a healthy 10-20lbs by fall. 225 as a freshmen would be stout with his skill set

Him being an EE is HUGE

Being an EE, and with his frame, he can easily put on a minimum of 10-15lbs of good weight in 7-8 months and be adjusted to it by the start of the season.

His frame is more slight than many people realize and his legs are thin. It raises the question does he have the frame to be an every down ILB in this type or system? UGA and Bama do not seem to think so.

I hope we get him and can sort it out later. At worst he could be a great sub package player in Nickel or Dime.

Yep I never count out a EE with his speed and ability. Maybe not full time plug and play but easily can be a starter in special teams s pass nickel/dime defense packages

You know how there's always that kid out there every couple years or so that several programs snub, and he turns out to be a monster? Maybe we'll actually benefit from that for once lol.

I'm not familiar with OP's film but could he be an Eric Striker type. Striker was listed as 6' 220lb and was a bit of an A-hole but the dude could play..

You're correct. There are discrepancies between different sites, but he was definitely on the small side as a senior. 247 listed him as 6'3" 215. Rivals listed him as 6'3" 195. Pappoe looks like a much more athletic version of Eric Striker, and Striker was never any more than 220 while at Oklahoma.

Bama and UGA can afford to be picky with LBs bc they will just go get another 5 star. We take this kid because even if he ends up small he will still be better than anyone we have. As a hybrid Lb/star he has all of the tools to be great
