I don’t think the outcome has an effect on his commitment either. More about the relationships with coaches and potential playing time plus building the program means more to the players then riding the pine for a couple years at other schools.I don't see why anything on him would change. At this point I don't believe his coming is contingent on our last game(s).
The current LBs are good at getting whatever the DL don’t get. Not good in space at all. That’s why there are all being replaced. And why Pappoe gets into his Minkah Fitzpatrick role day 1.Hell they weren't even in the vicinity of the person they were supposed to be guarding. I could not understand what kind of defense we put out on the field. For the first time all year AT looked clueless. BB gonna BB. BT wasn't in his best form. Linebackers can't cover open field nor can they step up in the hole. DL was getting blown off the ball all night. I really just don't have words to express how pitiful that performance was if you can even call it a performance.
What impact would Auburn's DC Kevin Steele leaving for a head coaching gig have on his recruitment, if any? I'll hang up and listen.
I wonder what the chances are of Steele attempting to poach some of those guys on the defensive staff. I'm sure a number of those guys are tired of trying to win games in spite of their own offense.Probably not a lot. It might actually hurt if Gus chooses to promote the LB coach to DC. Not sure if hes qualified for that position or if Gus would make a move like that knowing hes on the hot seat.
Doubt that the LB coach potentially being promoted to DC helps Auburn. It probably has no effect, but Pappoe would have a more personal relationship with him as his position coach than he would as his DC.Probably not a lot. he's committed to Auburn. everyone's "cooL' on the site.Im a bit of a noob when it comes to the recruiting scene, but according to 247 we're "Cool" with Pappoe. Are we out of the running with Owen?
I wasnt, i was trying to make the point you just made with an example. 2 different recruits, both committed to other schools with different levels of interest. Doesnt mean a whole lot. And saying cool when they are committed could be something as simple as being updated.Stop reading in to the cool and warm stuff. It isn't consistently accurate. We are in good shape with OP.
