'19 GA ATH Owen Pappoe (Auburn signee)

He's literally dropping down because of where he's going to play lol. You would figure coming here, he'd have more opportunity to get noticed. Oh well, our gain in the long run.
You do understand they mean 'where' as in what position, right? This has nothing to do with UT. They must be projecting him as not really having a perfect natural fit. Doesn't matter, because freak talent will get him by just fine in college. Their rankings are based on the draft projection. So they think he'll be a 2nd round pick. Oh well.

Isn't Rivals like 33% of the Composite score though?
True, but at least it's not 100%, if rivals is low on a prospect due to bias (which they seem to be pretty often), the other 66.67% can make up for their BS, I also pay more attention to 247's in house rankings as well than rivals or ESPN

Yep, jumped the gun. I'm just always under the assumption that everyone is out to get us lol

I’m just telling you there’s a Rivals article ready to go @ VQ with all 3 throwing up the VOL hand sign, decked out in orange. If Watson signs with Texas it may never again see the light of day, but there’s a reason the entire VQ staff and photographer went to Grayson to interview all 3 of those kids. And there’s also a reason we are telling Jammie and a few other DBs that we are full at DB now unless something crazy happens. If Kenyatta goes to Texas I can’t wait to see how VQ handles that but I’m assuming they also just did pics with only Wanya and Owen just in case.

Following up on this...

Starting to hear this was indeed a “just in case” and that we haven’t been able to get some of his family on board. Watson was teetering and seeing Texas matched up in the Sugar Bowl shows him signs that their rebuild is already complete, where ours just started.

So this is in regards to KWll and not OP?

Why are these sites so caught up in what NFL potential the kids have or what NFL position they would play? That is what NFL mock drafts are for. They are supposed to rank based on college potential not NFL. I know most of the time that correlates to each other but that's like saying Tebow today would be a 2 star because you don't know his NFL position. If a kid is a 5 star athlete then he is a 5 star regardless of NFL projection. Pappoe will be a big time player for whoever gets him. It's like these idiots don't even see the game evolving to where a Pappoe at ILB is a lot more valuable now.

247 sees the game changing. They have begun to look more closely at WRs that are dangerous in space vs just big tall WRs like Knox. Clearly rivals hasn't
