'19 GA ATH Owen Pappoe (Auburn signee)

What do you mean "sudden changes?" He never decommitted from Auburn. Wanya openly trying to flip him and Gus drama was the basis of a lot of speculation, but nothing actually changed with his recruitment status. Recruits take visits, officially and unofficially, all the time to schools to schools after they have verbally committed and they follow through on those original commitments. This is nothing new.

Nothing public-facing has changed, but I've got a DM from 11/11/18 saying "...yeah he's flipping to tennessee" from a person in OP's camp, not UT's. There was smoke for a reason. UT has been his dream school since middle school, and the wheels were turning to bring him back. Then, out of the blue (remember, AUB hasn't contacted OP since he came to the UT/AUB game), he's swung back HARD to the Barn. This IS unusual.

Pruitt still has his in-home, and I think once the high of the visit passes and he sees Wanya everyday for a week, a visit with Pruitt might have the same effect. This just doesn't have a rational explanation that doesn't involve nefarious activity on behalf of Aub.

So instead of concluding that your source in his camp was misinformed/wrong, you've concluded Auburn is paying him. OK. We know that Tennessee would never do anything like that, right?

How exactly has Tennessee been his dream school for that long? Is he not originally from Loganville? If he is, that's prime Georgia or Auburn territory.

I could post what I’ve been told. I could post what I think happened, is happening and might happen. But I’m just going to be mocked and told I need help. So why bother. Look I get it. Everyone thinks no one knows anything. But you guys worship some posters and treat others like neighbor that keeps his yard messy. So why bother?

The thing is we have had people with good info here for years, lots of them. And for every one that brought info there were always the negaidiots who challenged them relentlessly and ate up when something went differently.

Ignore the ones who enjoy drama, the majority enjoys those who bring legit info.

Kid is up to 8 offers. 4 of which are SEC offers. (UT, SCAR, Auburn, UK)

In between his training for high school, Pappoe has already started taking recruiting visits. The Volunteers have always been among his favorite programs and a visit to campus earlier this spring left him very impressed.

"That was the first time I went to Tennessee, I just fell in love with the place," he said. "To get an offer from them, it was really exciting. They're a growing team, too. By the time I get up there, they could be one of the top 10 teams in the country."

Pappoe will likely be back in Knoxville over the summer and also has visits to Georgia, Boston College, Miami and other programs on the schedule. But no matter what happens in recruiting, he said he's working to stay focused and make sure his offers are still valid by the time it comes time to sign a letter of intent in 2019.

"I've just got to stay humble and focus on my grades, especially, because that's what colleges are really looking at," he said. "I need to keep my grades straight, make sure I'm hanging with the right crowd in high school, make me stay level-headed - don't get too cocky, just stay humble."

Sometimes the kids themselves don't know what they're going to do. I laugh these days about how we think people know the answer.

@NotoriousRPP Don't listen to the small minority of people that complain about your info when you are wrong/things change...Fact is, most of us on here really enjoy your insight.

Where do I begin!
First off... Chief...life is too short to be so negative all the time. Tell me how can i turn your frown upside down?

Now onto this total disaster.

I will say it again....and chief I am not backing down from this in any way shape or form...OP 100% was silent. He told three coaches including JP that he was going to come play for the vols both in person and over the phone over the past few weeks. Why do you think all the media smoke calling for him to be a vol came from...you think those guys just made it up???? They get leaked information from certain coaches and mouthpieces for certain coaches...its not rocket science.

As of this morning I was told that OP to the barn is a done deal. And I think I saw someone reporting something about his mom. It was actually both folks who pressured him to stick with his original commitment (which we don’t know why this came up all of the sudden but you can take a wild guess). So as of this morning I would say the door is shut. Now we ARE working to try and get back in there and see what can be done but I will be honest it didn’t sound very promising. If something changes and I hope that it does Ill let you know. It could take some twists and turns but I am not too bullish on that right now.

Any truth to the rumor that it was orchestrated by Kirby that you have heard?

I asked him how he knew Tennessee was Pappoe's dream school since middle school, and he said it was because he's been paying attention for longer than 2 months. He was in middle school a while ago.
Read the date on the quoted post from an interview. It's not that hard for normal people, but you are one of the FF junkies who struggle to keep up with simple sentence structure.

You've been paying attention to this kid's recruitment for 5 years? Got too much time on your hands.
And he uses it to make edits for many of these same kids. And now he’s going to get paid by Tulane. What are you doing with your hands right now?

Yeah. I heard that Kirby orchestrated OP going to Auburn, he really wanted to stick it to Pruitt. So much so that Kirby sent him to another school, that UT won’t play for the foreseeable future. TIFWIW.

I'm employed full-time, run a side-gig that is contracted by multiple D1 schools' athletic departments, have toured internationally behind a drum kit, just got married, renovated a 200yr-old shotgun house, and make time to follow tennessee recruiting. the **** have you done with all your time?

But he wasn't in middle school 3 years ago. Dude said we had been his "dream school" since he was in middle school. I mean, putting stock in what a middle schooler says...whatever.
you asked the freaking question...................'member?
smh.

I just would like to know exactly what Auburn does to make recruits pull things like this. Do they promise their parents $100,000 a year for the rest of their life? When these abrupt changes happen, it always seems to be with Auburn, and always completely out of the blue, And the recruit shuts everything completely down without giving coaches that he has known for years a chance to talk to him. Do they threaten to kill family members? It is so weird how it happens, but it always happens this exact way.

It is on FBI wire taps. They just don’t do handshakes but they bring bucket loads of money. They lose OP and the entire class falls apart so they are not just investing into one player but the entire class. We are not going to do that. Bad investment for a tweener. Not saying we don’t want him cause I think this kids going to be great but not a cam newton great. Even kiffy wouldn’t touch that.
