Not hating but I think this kid the most overrated player in this class of 2019. No way he’s the top OLB. Decent player but not this monster that’s been hyped up for years.

I remember watching him play on espn 2 seasons ago... i forget who they were playing, but I wasn't sold on him being the best lb in his class. I could hardly recognize him. He just seemed to blend in

Sounds like the fox talking about the grapes he couldn't get. Seriously? Evaluating a rising junior on the way he played as a freshman on one of the best HS teams in Georgia? Read that last sentence again.

Regardless, a long time before signing day, if the dawgs stink things up this year, the kid could change his mind again...and probably will.

Jabrill peppers but not even close to being the same athlete. Undersized LB but too slow to be a DB

funny seeing the forum swing on this kid. while he was considering us and even under Pruitt people were talking up how great he was. size and speed weren't an issue because he was good. now that he is going to UGA its meh across the board.

I also like how people keep saying UGA will do their usual and stink it up. I would love for 10 wins to be our usual. :hi:

I get what you are saying, but remind me what our record against UGA in the last 5 games is? And would you say we have been very good over the last 5? I would say we have been decent at best.

Edit: one could also take this argument to 10 years. We are 4-6 in a decade I would call less than decent.

JUmping on the breaker bandwagon except he wasn't even saying he was terrible. He was just saying overrated in the sense of top 10 player. Led to the pile on effect of omg yeah he sucks lol.

I for one haven't watched a single highlight since his freshman yr since I just figured he was a dawg. Considering Smart, Pruitt and steel all want him I would say he would help us quite a bit somewhere on the field

Exaggerate much?

One guy said he was overrated. Another said he didn't show out at a game two years ago. I don't think I've seen much more posts talking the kid down.

Lol check yourself.... I don't care if UT or uga gets him or not. I don't allow a recruit's decision affect my outlook on how good or bad I think he will be. I'm basing my opinion on the game I seen a few years ago. I remember "experts" saying he's one of the next great lb prospects coming out of grayson hs. I tuned in and I wasn't pleased with the performance he put on. And yea "seriously."

UGA is 7-3 against UT in the last decade with 2 games that could’ve gone either way. Also besides last year, UGA’s only other solid year was 2012, so it’s not like UGA has been that great during dooley/butch era.
Quick edit: 4 or so of the games were within 7 points, but the two I was referring to are the OT fumble/not fumble game and the Hail Mary before the last game.

I hate uga but this kid looks solid to me hate uga gets him....also Kirby a beast and has showed no reason for us to think he won't eventually win the ship. Saban probably the only person in the country that would have beat him this year....people need wise up

I think Pappoe is great and hope he’s a Vol. If not, oh well, we’ll live.

Valid points but looking at history, can you point to the last time we just completely demolished Georgia, in Athens? Looking at it that way puts things into a whole other perspective.

If there is any Tennessee fan that says they wouldnt have killed for Georgia's success over the past decade is just flat out lying.

Don't move the goal posts. Georgia has had a nice team since the Mark Richt era started for the most part. There is a reason he no longer coaches there though. They underachieved several times which is what the original conversation was pertaining to.

Would I trade our record for theirs over the last 10 yrs? Yep.

hope hes a Vol. please dont confuse my attitude toward the UGA fans as disdain toward a recruit. i couldnt care less about if he spurns us. But, once hes a Bulldog. Well. All bets are off.

I haven’t been talking up for him either. He’s solid but I can post a much better LB with the same offers.

Funny thing is I don’t hate on prospects no matter where they are going but his build concerns me period. Everyone calling him Roquan are really acting like Smith isn’t a SPECIAL ball player.

It's not really a slight against Roquan. IMO people are just saying their games are similar in the fact that both are considered undersized for their position, but make up for it in being able to run sideline to sideline. Rivals used to have comparisons for recruits, I'm pretty sure they stopped though. Even though the comparisons generally didn't work out it was still entertaining to see. lol I hyped up Da'Rick to my UT friend when they compared him to Calvin Johnson. For some reason I stopped hyping him up though...
