Rivals used to have comparisons for recruits, I'm pretty sure they stopped though. Da’rick could have been a star. He was his own worst enemy and playing for a narcissistic doofus like Derek Dooley didn’t help him.

I’m not a UT fan so i obviously didn’t watch all your games, but wasn’t it y’alls defense that hurt then? I remember y’all had bray, Rogers, and hunter around then so that’s a pretty great core to build around. I think Patterson was around then but not completely sure. I just remember thinking if UGA would’ve closed the deal on Patterson we may have beaten bama in 2012.

I will own up to it, i saw Grayson play in person. For a 5 star top 15 kid i did not see it. He made some tackles and plays but a 3 star kid that signed with Iowa was the best linebacker on the field imo

I just hope they don't waste anymore resources on this kid. He probably got him a real nice bag-o-dough to visit a few weeks ago, and then promptly starts playing the Awbarn bagmen..

Why is it when we suck its because other teams are buying the best players? That is such a cop-out. If other teams are doing it then our Vols are too......we just need to up the ante a little.

lol, not sure. I don’t think he is a lock to anyone as most think. Maybe it’s just me, but feeling this recruitment still has a couple turns or twists. Most of the big ones do.


...he could be done, he’s been heavily recruited since his freshman year and a lot longer than most. Youngest player ever invited to the Opening so he may actually had his ‘fill’ of recruiting but just feels like a curve is coming.

You misunderstand me...I think this kid is a Dawg. I think he wants to be a Dawg, and is just milking ours and others money men for all he can get by showing feigned interest.

I think you are wrong on this one. The only way he isn't a Dawg is if Kirby decides he doesn't want him after all.

I..am..saying..that..Pappoe wants..to be a Dawg..In my opinion..The ONLY reason he will not be...is if Kirby Smart..decides he doesn't want him..before signing day..Which is extremely unlikely. 😁

I understood everything you said, no reason to slow it down. Smart isn’t an elite coach yet, that remains to be seen so there’s no picking and choosing whoever he wants. When they take a big step back this year, recruits will see it. Not trying to argue here, but he’s no Saban.
