I assume from the tweet thread this kid knows Jabari Davis. So we have that going for us, which is nice.

Owen Pappoe: The Freak’s Offseason – Recruit Diaries

The offseason is not all work and no play; I have been going on visits since January and have been to some of the best programs in the nation. I have visited Alabama, Tennessee, FSU, Georgia, Florida and Miami. I have been to Georgia multiple times, one for their Junior Day in which I was one of the only freshmen invited. I was also there yesterday for the nation’s first Freshman Day. It was a great experience and I always feel at home when I visit Athens. My favorite visit though, was Tennessee. It is always a special place to visit, and they always show us a great time. I would say Tennessee is my favorite school to visit. A visit isn’t all about having fun, it is also a chance to learn more about a school, a program, and the coaches.

This kid really impresses me,I have only been really impressed by the speed and streanght of 10 or 12 players who have ever committed to UT and i would by recruiting books in mid 80.s

In terms of picking up commitments? That's just dumb. I would rather this kid commit in his senior year. Unless you want another meltdown - higgins
