'19 GA ATH Owen Pappoe (Auburn signee)

but, if we have a legit shot, hope we can make it happen.

UT can be a Big iceberg to their season this Saturday and watch their class start looking for lifeboats

Auburn doesn't take kindly to commits visiting other schools.

Yet AU has no problem hosting other teams commits? As hypocritical as Clemson

It was hilarious seeing people saying Smart hasnt proven anything. Some TN fans are just stuck in a state of perpetual state of delusion.

It doesn't hurt that there are 17 7a schools in Gwinnett county, which is 30 minutes from Athens. 48 7a schools in the state and 1/3rd are a 30 minute drive. 7a schools have over 2000 students, Mill Creek was up to 3998 students when they made the 7a classification.

A bit of a different situation with Jakai Clark. Clark was already committed to Auburn and chose to come to the UT BBQ with Wanya Morris instead of going to the Auburn BBQ that same weekend. Pappoe went to the Auburn BBQ. Clark skipping a big Auburn recruiting weekend for a big recruiting weekend at UT didn't set well with the Auburn coaches-- especially when they had already talked to him about it and he told them he wasn't going to UT. He got caught, Auburn coaches were pissed and he was on the outs.

Pappoe cancelled his visit to UT for the UF game after Auburn coaches called him about it. Auburn doesn't take kindly to commits visiting other schools. Whether he takes his last OV or not, I could see him being a late flip heading into ESD.

Are you sure about the Clarke thing? He posted his Auburn git in early September and visited UT for the florida game three weeks later.

I don’t think he ever visited prior.

I'm betting Cheney and Pittman weren't so popular that season either?

I have never been impressed with Chaney. He just has superior talent at UGA. He was far less impressive at UT, Arky, and Purdue.

Now Pittman on the other hand is the freaking man! Easily top 3 Offensive Line Coach in college. Butch showed his football IQ when he let him get away for Don Mahoney who couldn’t coach his way out of a paper bag.

Chaney still isn’t. OC is always the most ridiculed position coach on any team. He’s only avg 43 ppg this year and taking the 4th qtr off.
If things don’t work out Rocky Top would welcome him back with open arms. Dude can call plays with the best of him. Probably the most exciting UT offense of this century with him st the helm.

He said he called several Georgia coaches and none answered or called him back, that he was gonna tell them he was committing to Georgia. After that it made him rethink his decision. And ultimately signed with Tennessee.
