If it's really bad grades...then JUCO here he comes.

He'll be a damn 5 star JUCO that everyone will be after in 2 years.

That really sucks if true. This kid is so talented...

He's 6'5" AND can jump. Runs probably 4.45.
And can cut on a dime.
He is definitely talented … but raw. Does anyone know how fast he actually is ? I am guessing that he is someone that would have benefitted from camping this summer. I will say that if there is a tie between 2 or 3 kids and one is Josh Dobbs and the other two may not make it into school because of their grades … then Dobbs might just nudge the other two out.

Probably time to reach out to everyone that we are recruiting and say we have a process when you commit or are thinking of possibly committing ...… Please don't go public until everyone has signed off and blessed your commitment.

Hmmmm........Bradley Central is only a couple miles away. Need to check him out this fall.

I really can’t stand Simonton. I don’t know what it is about the way he’s phrased this, but it irks me.
On VolQuest he's known as GataDawg. He went to one of those schools and worked for the other one after he graduated. He never refers to TN as WE always as THEY. He likes to stir the pot too, like Finebaum. However, Simonton does an excellent job of covering practices in the fall. The fanbase on Volquest is about 50/50 on him with his biggest boosters are the NegaVols.

I like kids like this, needs to get the grades up though. The coaches will work everything out.

Here's something I don't understand about recruits. This young man seems like a perfect candidate to go to prep school or sit out a year and then wait for the 22' class. Spend that year in the gym, tutors and with a trainer. Then come in and maybe redshirt at an SEC school. A 22yo Jr or 23yo senior at 6'5 with that athleticism and game maturity would be off the charts.
Just seems like a great idea for certain players to get an extra year or two before trying to get in a depth chart. It's what I'd try to do if it were my son serious about the next 2 levels.
Maybe I'm not factoring in the present difficulties. IDK.

Exposure is not an issue with him.
He was ranked the #68 ranked player in the country at one point. Not very raw at all actually. He'd contribute as a freshman with Tee's coaching

I watched his highlights against Farragut and he is very talented but didn't appear to have a lot of talent around him. I didn't watch in detail but his routes appeared to be go routes. With him being in Cleveland …. it's not like he is getting the exposure that he would get in say Nashville. For him to drop that dramatically there must be more to the story …. maybe it is grades I don't know, but he is a very good looking athlete for sure.
