“WE” did. Never read VQ post any preference for Pruitt. Maybe he wasn’t as chatty back then.We all thought the same about Alontae and Bryce and look were they are starting out. Hopefully the DB's will start out in better shape next offseason to leave this guy at WR if that is where Pruitt really wants him.
I'm really curious how much he actually uses players on both sides. He's talked a lot about it and noted that he and most of his assistants were HS coaches and used to doing that.I think the coaches are looking at Puckett as a two-way player. He said he prefers playing WR, but he fits Pruitt's prototype for corner. Taking a versatile athlete like Puckett would help with the numbers.

I hope UT sneaks in and steals this kid. I heard Pruitt likes him at WR. That's surprising, knowing Pruitt's MO, but Keyton and Puckett in this class at WR would be killing it, imo. I think UT has mad potential at WR right now, anyway, so take those 2 and concentrate on the big uglies on both sides of the ball. Worst case scenario, UT can just move Zion to DB, another believed weakness
Played Auburn “a lot”?Growing up in the 70s and 80s, UT played Auburn a lot and lossed to the Barn many times. So I have a strong dislike for Auburn, not quite the hate I for Bama, Florida and now, Georgia but close. So not only do I want to steal Zion out from the under the Barn on the plains, but I would really enjoy Pruitt's first signature win being an upset of a highly rated Auburn, this year. Oh yeah, when we beat WV and Florida, this year, it will be expected, imo, so those 2 victories won't be considered Pruitt's signature wins like beating a top 10 Auburn will
