Yeah. Yet so many find time to take their swing at him and he’s still gracious enough to give us tidbits when he can. You could gold plate some of these posters’ a** and they’d still have something to ask for or complain about.

Just my opinion - sounds like somebody making a broad “statement” so it can be twisted to fit whatever narrative they want

I'm not an @hole to people on here, pretty much the only thing I've ever argued with anybody about are the handful of times I've just said I don't think AV really knows anything, which some of you really can't handle. It's like I've spit on a crucifix or something. It's funny.

It's the truth, it's what he does, he tells people what they want to hear as long as it's reasonably possible and when we don't get the guy he says recruiting is fluid and things changed and when we do get him, he takes credit and you guys do a victory lap. Simplest game in the world. I really hope we get Green, we dang sure need him, but whether we do or don't, I don't think it's got anything to do with Atlanta VOL.

I’ll sum up your position.

AV gets bad info on a recruit or says we’re in a good spot but kid goes somewhere else: he doesn’t know anything, AV is a fraud.

AV gets good info and we get a kid he says we’re in a good spot for: well he just got lucky and AV doesn’t know anything about anything. Just lucky.

Condemn him when we miss yet don’t give him credit when correct. The man just relays what he hears, it’s not written in stone though.

Disclaimer: My post doesn’t say Green is the boat. So miss me with the hate if he goes elsewhere. Really hope we get him.

It's okay man, everybody's got to have someone to look up to and some of these guys look up to AV I guess. This reaction is mild compared to when I first disclosed my opinion on this matter on the Darnell Washington thread last year. There aren't as many disciples now as there were then.

Same thing happened with the rest of the posers before him that I’ve already forgotten about. It’s been going on for years and years. I used to be on the other side of the fence, so I try my best not to call ppl names and be so critical. I remember what it’s like

Now you’re just being butthurt and attaching a name to it. What if some are just grateful that someone’s gonna be open enough to share what they hear? I can guarantee he’s closer to the program than 98% of the posters on this forum. So what if he’s not always right? At least he shares what he knows. Hell with the mocking and bitterness that flows through these pages, if I were close to the program I wouldn’t share one iota of information with 99% of you. Like it’s been stated before you couldn’t diamond plate some of y’alls butts, you’d still find something to mock & complain about. That’s just honest opinion. Not “attacking” anyone as I’ve been accused of for it seems like a month.

I hope we get Green too, I'll be as happy as anybody if we do. I don't blame AV when we don't get a recruit because like I said, I don't think he knows anything anyway, at least nothing greatly in excess of any regular reader of the paysites, so likewise I don't give him credit ever either. I also don't like his vague style, it seems to me like he is toying with some of you, it seems unnecessary. Nonetheless, several people have testified that he has done nice things for them, which I have no reason to doubt so I presume his vagueness is a quirk of character and not malicious. Either way, I get excited when the crystal balls roll our way or when Price says something like he did today, not when Atlanta VOL posts champagne glasses.
