VTscoop taking about it like we did Gibbs. Sounds like he was their expected denial.

No idea as to its legitimacy or even just an employee outside the process (I think only like 7 people actually work on these and they are not FT ncaa employees) spitballing, but thought some might find it interesting, from VTScoop:

"I was talking to someone familiar with the process and inside the NCAA they apparently see the transfer waivers as a means of moving for players that are blocked from playing time. As such, they tend to give waivers to players who weren't playing and whose schools don't block the move (or the waiver). This goes to explain some of the seemingly inconsistent decisions we see. It makes sense that Burmeister is denied because Oregon did not support the move."

Doesn't really help predict Solomon.

He wasn't playing mostly because of injury, correct?

Guys, I have a buddy who works as a statistician for the NCAA. He just texted me and told me he helped figure out a method for determining eligibility that takes into account all relevant factors and gives you the result. The best news is that the NCAA unwittingly published it online.

I've included the link. Run the simulation for Aubrey and let me know what you get.

There is no buzz. Someone said that moron Basilio was saying stuff about it being screwed up by UT people. Just another day where that jackasss is spreading nonsense.

Accusing UT of neglecting to submit paperwork to get a waiver for a player we absolutely need-- on Fulmer's watch-- is absurd. Nobody stirs the pot harder than Basilio.

No, it wasn't meant to be. Just thought some might find it interesting. Solomon was expected to fight for a starting job at UM and that would be only one perspective regardless.
