The conference really has nothing to do with it anymore. Rules have changed. They knew Gibbs would have to sit out because he had no good reason to get an NCAA waiver.

If Solomon had transferred to Bama he'd of been eligible before the paperwork left Tuscaloosa.

I don’t know. Gibbs was denied for a while before Cjp said he was redshirting.

I know nothing. Just reading tea leaves and I stand by my post.

We weren't even practicing when Gibbs was denied. Pruitt had no reason to say anything at that point. He announced he was redshirting at his first fall press conference.
