Elite defensive tackles are tough to find, and Solomon certainly has ability, ability he demonstrated in becoming the No. 2 defensive tackle in the 2017 247Sports Composite, earning a five-star ranking in the process. GoVols247 reported (VIP) that Solomon has been working with Tennessee's first team, and once he gets in the full swing of things, the Volunteers could get nice use of a player who was talented enough to play in eight games in Ann Arbor as a true freshman, making 16 tackles and 2.0 tackles for loss.

Don’t see the issue. Jones played at USC in 17, declared academically ineligible for 18 and went juco and is now at Arizona State. No waiver was needed...standard stuff.

He was declared academically ineligible...and he wanted some orange chicken. Cam Newton stole a laptop and only spent one season at juco. Standard transfer stuff.

Tate Martell has already transferred to MTSU, been declared eligible, lost the starting job, and transfered to Motlow Community College, and we are still waiting on Solomon.
