Just had the transmission rebuilt in mine last week. Glad to get her back. 5.7L Chevy vortec, 4” susp lift, 35” tarrs, straight piped with headers. All on a beautiful 2001 wrangler.lemme guess....

i use to run a salvage yard....we sold a TON of jeep transmissions........
yep. i used to love getting Wranglers in. didn't matter how beat up or wrecked they were, they got picked to the bone. always made good money on them.Jeep always ranks low on dependability articles but is still one of the most loved 4×4s.
If you can afford it, grab one and beef all of its weak areas up and people love them.
