That does seem like a lot of guys bailing on them. It's not like Harbaugh is a new coach getting rid of another coaches guys either. These were all his recruits.So just for reference every transfer from Tennessee has immediate eligibility and there were only 7 transfers (Not very many)
Michigan has somewhere between 13 - 16 guys transferring and only 3 are ruled immediately eligible right now. (First off note the number of transfers, thatās absolutely ridiculous)
This shows a lot about the culture of the Michigan program right now.

It is new. Passed this year.Yes they would. It's why Baker had to sit at Oklahoma even though he was a walkon at tech.
Well I did not know that.It is new. Passed this year.
DI Council adjusts transfer rules
"Additionally, walk-on student-athletes on teams that provide athletics aid and nonrecruited walk-ons can transfer and play immediately without a waiver. Those rules are effective for students who transfer to new schools this fall"
@3rdDegreeVol at it again.....
The way it should be. The player is going to transfer anyways...why try to screw up the time he has left to play college football? Thatās acting like a little whiney 2 year old.It's because the Michigan AD submits a statement saying the player transferred of his own volition for playing time. That's not valid grounds for a waiver, which leads to denial. Michigan can act coy and play semantics about not blocking waivers all they want; the new process requires a statement from the previous school stating why the player transferred and Michigan knowingly sabotages the player's chances.
By contrast, UT lets players know upfront that if it doesn't work out for them at UT, the coaches will help them find a school that's a better fit. UTAD helps players, even going the extra mile of making calls on their behalf before and during the transfer process.
