Even though it's Vandy, you never like a recruit to feel "torn" and be visiting the other school on the last weekend. I think our coaches feel good about this one, but it can be hard to overcome the last visit, especially when he's currently committed to them. You better believe Vandy will roll out the red carpet for him this weekend.

Folks laughed when I said this. Gonna need to pick up a transfer or 2, because we are swinging and missing a lot on DL recruitment down the stretch.

Yeah agree with Bass here. We’ve whiffed a good bit especially at the close. Hoping that this was from late relationships built vs inherent recruiting issues. Our offense will be good and players will come.

True. He’s not, but unlike past years, you miss on HS recruits, you can also backfill with Portal guys. I don’t think we’re in a bad spot at all considering #s are actually getting tight.

Defense is another matter

I’ll echo what Tony Basilio has said numerous times.. Tennessee needs players. Time will tell if Josh Heupel can recruit at the level he needs to be successful in this league. Heupel is a great coach.. his recruiting leaves much to be desired.
