Someone help me out here, is there any truth to JJ not qualifying? Or was that some BS that visiting UGA and Bama posters were spewing..
JMO...
Taylor-Allen
Kirkland-Sapp
Ignont-Peterson
Bituli-Smith
J Taylor/Johnson
S Bituli/Sapp
M Kirkland/Peterson
W Allen/Smith
Gonna be fun to watch the battles for playing time. And it aint no joke tying to break this two-deep. Cannot wait to see this group learn how to play. Cant wait to see what Pruitt and the crew coach these guys up to.
You guys need to add Ignont... he isn't going to be on the sidelines this year.
Jordan Allen will make an impact next year... His lean around the edge and his hands will make it hard for him not to be on the field next year.Ignot has a chance to start.
Beside Bituli.
Peterson is going to be hard to keep off the field.
Kirkland for all his early success, hasn't really shown good physicality. Plus injuries...hes not a shoe in to start.
D. Taylor and Bituli could be our outside guys...
Peterson and Ignot inside.
Lots of good options.
I think it will shake out like so
(Jk) D Taylor. 6'4" 250
(IB) JJ Peterson. 6'3" 235
(MB) D Kirkland. 6'2" 230
(SB£ D Bituli. 6'3" 245
That is a LB core that can stop the run....and rush the passer.
I believe Peterson is the closest thing we've had to Kevin Burnett since him.... Maggit was no Burnett.
Jordan Allen will make an impact next year... His lean around the edge and his hands will make it hard for him not to be on the field next year.
Its crazy to me that we seem (at least on paper) to be in such good shape at LB...typically in a 4-3 to 3-4 switch LB is the spot that needs the most overhauling yet here we are with what seems to be a highly capable 2-deep at the position...I believe we have at least 9-10 players capable of contributing at a high level already
