'18 GA LB JJ Peterson (Tennessee signee)

when camp opens on friday, august 3rd, tennessee is hoping that heralded signee j.j. Peterson is here. As noted earlier this week, peterson is not going to be here for second session summer school as he continues to finish up some academic work. Previously, there was optimism that peterson would be here for second session summer school. There remains confidence that peterson will get here the last week of july, but it certainly seems a bit unsettling that he hasn't gotten everything taken care of at this point.

As long as we can get him on campus this year I’ll be happy. If we stay healthy, I think we may be good enough to not need him to make an impact and spend a season developing him and using his athleticism on special teams.

2019 will be when he becomes much more important IMO.

Here is a 'thought' that might be considered.

When visiting recruits are introduced to the S/C coach and the facilities, it is common for that recruit to receive a generic copy of the typical S/C program. Here's what we do, here's what you can expect.

Once he signs, or there is assurance of his enrollment, the S/C coach's attitude changes entirely.

And so it has.

I remember one of the Alabama blowhards mentioning he probably wouldn’t make it in. This was in December or January.

Being a teacher and talking to teachers... This is the best way not to get sued for "not following the 504 plan verbatim" because 98% of teachers follow the 504 plans but they just don't work

Hmmm,,students with learning disabilities do not have 504's; they have IEP's.
