'18 GA LB JJ Peterson (Tennessee signee)

So at this point, we have to hope for JJ to do well in whatever summer courses he's enrolled in currently, and also hope that whatever GPA bump there is to his high school grades do enough so that the "sliding scale" is in line with NCAA academic clearing house standards?

Yikes, hope he has cool summer school teachers

Whew. I'm glad. How's your wife doing? Didn't she have a hip issue that was causing her a lot of pain?

She had a hip replacement this morning. She's doing as well as she could be. Waiting for the spinal block to subside so they can get her up and about. Thanks for asking.

I hope she has a good recovery... surgery is tough. Hope all is well sir!

Thanks. Dr said she was a tough gal. Said there were bone spurs and he had to clean up some torn cartilage. Said it had to be painful. On a bad note he said her other hip probably wasn't far behind.

Oh, wow, I didn't realize it was that serious. Glad to hear they were able to fix the problem and she's doing well! Keep us posted.

Maybe it's being a bit classless but if you really can't find a way to get your **** together with all the help provided in school, you really don't deserve to be at Tennessee. What a waste.

Why so hostile? He still has until Fall to make it into class...

So we’re just totally ignoring the continued optimism by Doug Mathews and VQ staff? Get it together, fellas.

It's too late for Peterson to retake the ACT and be guaranteed results before the start of fall session. So he has to get the course grade he needs to raise his core GPA enough to receive NCAA certification. He can't enroll and participate in team activities without it. Same scenario it's always been.

How can he be so far behind?
