The recruit coming here now. I posted a few days ago that His camp video was not impressive. Maybe he has better video somewhere else but it does not bother me that we will not get him.

Everytime something doesn't work out in our favor, with a recruit, that AV posts something positive about, tons of people, on here, get up in arms over it.

Listen, most everything AV has ever said has been backed by 24/7, VQ or some media source. It appears he is wrong about Tate but VQ reported it as well. So going into the trip to Ga, he was going to wait till February, something changed and now he looks to be signing early. We will see.

Call him out when he makes statements that are not backed by the media and they fall through, but you should also give him props when he calls things that land in our favor, whether the media supports his statement or not.

Tennessee boys don’t get taken care of after they graduate in Georgia. He better hope whomever his position coach is gets him to the NFL. He will figure out Kirby and be in the portal in a couple of years. We won’t need him then.

Wanya Morris, K'Rohjn Calbert, Jerome Carvin, Darnell Wright all made a positive impact this season. I only mention those because the are 2 years exp and less.

Maybe Friend isn't the most aggressive recruiter, but your staff needs a balance. You can say what u want about he and Rocker on the trail but the progress in their respective units on the field is undeniable.

What does need work is our run blocking but I expect that to improve with another year under the young OL's belt and our most explosive back in Gray hopefully ready to take the next step.

Pass blocking was pretty darn good down the stretch.

I say we keep WF for now.

Friend was not the primary recruiter for either Morris or Wright, and Cheney has as much to do with the improvement as anyone after he personally got involved with OL coaching.

JP hooked his bud up with some sweet cash. He will have to cut him loose soon if he wants to truly excel.

Just BS. Friend did well at Georgia and as OC at CSU.

I can't say why TR wasn't interested, maybe there was a personality clash.
But I'm fairly certain that it wasn't because he didn't like the coaching of someone he's never been coached by. Yes, I'm willing to go out on that limb.

Also figured with the relationship TR has with the Ga staff already, he just needed some time with Luke. Not shocking.
