Oh yes, the UT passed on Tate Ratledge despite UT recruiting him hard before he picked UGA and despite UT trying to pry its way into the recruitment once Sam Pittman left takeover of the player’s thread and now many of our posters project that Ratledge is going to suck. This is a tale as old as time...albeit somewhat delayed in this thread because we usually claim we passed (like UF fans claim the Gators passed on Morven Joseph after Mullen went in home with him leading up to ESD) right after the commitment or re-commitment to another program.

Um , nobody is saying we passed. They're just saying he got owned. A couple of reps won't determine his career either way. It's simply fun laughing at Georgia.

I had watched two of them but it still has no bearing on the type of player he will be in college.

May or may not (we'll see), but what i can tell you at this moment of time, he is severely overrated at his position and overall ranking

We will see.... the same ones that rated him a 4* saw him doing these same drills and all the other tests that they put lineman through.

Yeah and the same one's saw Harrison Bailey dominate these same drills and dominate the highest classification of Georgia for 4 years and still won't give him his well deserved 5th star. Dude is highly overrated and it's becoming a pattern getting beat in this setting. I still would like to have had him but I hope UGA puts dude at tackle because you're going to see edge rushers in the SEC go wild on the outside...

Very true, with OL 1v1s are always beneficial to the DL guys. You see if a DL guy spins inside he set up a Dbl team. Many blocking schemes will cover up all the 1v1 stuff.

They only rated 2 QBs as five stars .... they have rated as the 4th best QB at his position behind 3 QBs from California.... I do feel they way overrate some dual threat QBs just bc they can run a little.
