Because like so many things, Butch screw the pooch but whatever. Barely making the NFL and not being practice squad is more than 97 percent of other college football players get to do.

I blame Butch and his staff for not being able to develop talent. I think under Pruitt, KMac would have been better evaluated as to which position fit him best, DL or OL. Obviously the NFL saw him as an OL. Butch was unable to pull his head out of his ass and actually develop players that put their trust in him.

He’s overrated because he lost a few one on ones? You realize Darnell Wright and wanya got abused at the opening too, right? In particular Jaquaze Sorrels ragdolled Wright multiple times in a row. It happens.

The Opening? You mean the event before Wanya and Darnell played their senior years?

If so, Wanya did very well at The Opening, receiving the "Alpha Dog" tag among O Linemen at the event. Darnell did pretty well too, generally better against the larger D Linemen like Sorrells than the speed rushers. And both Wanya and Darnell played very well in the UA game, after their senior years.

We'll see how Ratledge looks in the UA game. The D Linemen took turns whipping him in these 1v1 drills. Just drills, but it may be an indication he has a lot of work ahead of him, and better suited for the interior than OT.

No they didnt. Ratledge got abused on a lot of reps. Why are you so adamant to defend an uga signee, but not a vol? Undercover uga fan?

Both were all freshman sec. point was just that a few one on one’s don’t mean much.

Not undercover at all. Ppl that fake being vol fans over here are here to troll. I just like the discussion. Also, not trying to act like UGA fans don’t do it as well. Calling recruits that choose another school overrated is something fans of all teams do.

I'm calling him underrated b/c he constantly gets his ass handed to him in these drills. I would be concerned a little if i was a vol fan. I think his floor is lower than his ranking suggest. He may turn out to be good, but right now, hes getting owned

Right, but everyone loses one on ones from time to time, especially against ppl who are rated higher. If Tate would’ve won a rep against Breese I wouldn’t think that would make him the better player. Some rankings are given off of potential as well. I’m not saying he’ll be the next great thing or anything, just that basing an opinion off of one camp or drill is a bit shortsighted.

You realize what the term overrated means...right? Lol and it hasn't just been a few times. Dude has been embarrassed at nearly every setting like this. I didn't say he wasn't a good lineman. He's not a 5 star tackle though. I do hope Kirby is dumb enough to put him at tackle.

Yes... overrated means to have a higher opinion of (someone or something) than is deserved. How does that not fit with ppl saying he shouldn’t be ranked where he is?
